Job Responsibilities:

• Engage in active communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the teams.
• Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
• Responsible for BOM conditioning, including Make/Buy codings and commoditizing parts.
• Identify custom mechanical material requirements and coordinates with internal functions for quote proposal development, resulting in 100% ownership of the full quote process to ensure correct and on time submission.
• Identify information required to develop accurate quotes from the supply base and ensures it is availability or requests it from the Business Unit(s) responsible for the given quote.
• Attend and runs quote kick-off meetings for all assigned quote projects.
• Preparation of supplier RFQ packages and solicitation of quotes from the supply base.
• Review and analyze recommended supplier quotes to provide complete costed BOM proposals to Business Unit(s).
• Maintain relationships with supply base used for quoting activities.
• Support Commodity Management by maintaining knowledge of suppliers for custom mechanical commodities.
• Maintain record of suppliers that consistently provide quotes and related information in a timely manner, provides feedback to those suppliers.
• Review and analyzes quotes with Strategic Sourcing Manager and Material Quote Manager to ensure that proposal submission is consistent with the supply chain strategy, ability to supply and customer’s needs.
• Obtain feedback for customer proposals and identify changes in process, tools and execution to improve future submissions.
• Exercise a good working knowledge of materials, assembly and fabrication processes, and sources of supply to support a competitive supply chain strategy for each quote proposal.
• Perform other special projects for Material Quote Manager as necessary.
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Able to create and edit 3D solid model from 2D drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder with technical background preferred.
• At least more than 5 years of experience in the EMS/Manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years exposure with components sourcing and fabrication parts in high mix low volume environment.
• Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical skill and negotiation skills.
• Good time management skills.

• To carry out grooving and inspection on active airport runways as per schedule according to project requirement.
• To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices, etc.
• Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant machinery in efficient manner, and report to Site Manager on all matters relating to the operation or needed maintenance including any machine faulty or repair required.
• Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time.
• Prepare and write daily reports related to site works, progress of works and to ensure routine maintenance of machines is carried out according to schedule.
• To coordinate and liaise with Consultant and Subcontractors on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• Liaise with client or consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site.
• Report and assist Project Manager, Site Manager and Engineer on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by Service Operations
• When required, act as the customer SPOC and coordinate the scheduling of intervention with Customer's, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk ensuring the highest level of customer services and communications are maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA.
• Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups
• Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements
• To ensure the Service Operations team adheres to the highest working standards for all incidents and problems by providing guidance, support and direct management.
• Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems
• Support the senior team members in the management, reporting, and coordination of day-day tasks during the absence of the Lead Engineer
• Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices in order to deliver quality service and infrastructure operations
• Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and repairs in accordance with Service Operations and Delivery guidelines and instructions where provided
• Report and escalate to the next level those problems which cannot be fixed
• Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance of equipment and monitoring of systems and services in accordance with agreed schedules and customer expectations
• Perform Change Management, Configurations, Design and Implementation of the supported Product & Systems
• Manage local suppliers in the provision of services for the SITA Service Operations centres and report on services provided to management.
• Conducts the analysis, definition, documentation and testing of application & systems enhancements
• To provide onsite support to Users during the cutover of the services
• Continuously identify and document lessons learnt, known errors and operational knowledge for improved services
• When/where required, be contactable for escalations and support, on and on-call standby basis
• When/where required, perform assigned tasks on 12 x 7 shifts basis.

EXPERIENCE:

• Degree or equivalent Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years experience in the network, and/or application/system support domain.
• Must have dealt directly with external customers delivering to SLAs.
• Exposure to ITIL and IT/network components and principles
• Demonstrated maturity in handling complex customer issues and demanding customers
• Ability to coach new joiners and to facilitate their integration into the team
• Knowledge of Airline and CAA customers use of ACM applications
• Ability to organize the activity of a team and to take ownership of issues until resolution
