1. Supports the Accountant in completing basic bookkeeping, clerical and accounting tasks for a company.

2. Reparing company budgets, building and assessing financial reports and managing a business’ payroll processes.

3. Booking meetings and arranging events.

4. Ordering office stationery and supplies Maintaining internal databases.

5. Handling some MOM application related matters.

6. Maintains accurate records, reports, receipts and other documents related to the project (e.g., work orders).

7. Performs various clerical tasks, such as running errands for project managers, performing payroll and maintaining records if required (e.g., managing petty cash).

8. Responsible for managing file system (systematic arrangement and retrieval of records, documents or information) within specified limits and following established procedures.

9. Prepares periodic reports to management regarding building repairs, improvements and changes in inventory for long term maintenance needs.

Contract (6months)

To assist with new SAP system migration and implementation during the FY2024 year-end closing, year-end audit and preparation of annual report.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Group account mapping
• Assist with the data migration of accounting system
• Assist with UAT and parallel run
• Assist in testing and checking of reports generated by new SAP
• Assist to streamline and modify existing monthly/quarterly deliverable templates
• Assist to prepare monthly consolidation and forecast files manually from Jan-Jun 2025
• Assist to prepare Group Consolidation financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards including notes to the accounts, manually
• Assist with Annual report checking and proof reading on financial statements
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of related working experiences handling group consolidation and with auditing experience.
• Experience in group consolidation for Listed companies/ MNCs and hands-on experience in using Consolidation and Business reporting tools such as SAP is highly preferred.
• Experience in BI tools and able to streamline and automate related work process is high preferred
• Meticulous with numbers and able to work within tight datelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess good attitude and able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member.
• Knowledge in using SAP is preferred, BI Tools
• Proficient in MS-Office application especially for Excel (Advanced) and knowledge in Power Query and PowerPoint skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Prepare month end cost reporting and analysis

· Provide estimated costing for new products and products under R&D

· Set-up cost structure and allocation basis for product costing and profitability analysis

· Maintain and review standard cost for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods

· Prepare and maintain gross profit check for finished goods

· Create, activate and maintain item code

· Create service codes for intercompany billing

· Monthly inventory closing and journal posting

· Cost roll-up and update for semi-finished and finished goods

· Performing physical stocks counts for year-end closing and ad hoc count when required

· Process improvement to help management make sound decisions· Participate in projects where costing input is required

· Lead the costing team. Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines

· Other ad hoc duties assigned by management from time to time

Education and Work Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy.
- A minimum of 3 years related experience.
- Preferably with experience using Microsoft AX or other ERP.
- Proficient with MS office applications especially in Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, procedures.
