Our new family member should be able to independently manage tax compliance, provide advisory support, assist with projects, and enhance team processes and controls. Experience with preparation of FS is preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake the preparation and timely submission of tax returns.
• Provide support Work to other teams to reconcile accounts and ensure tax submission integrity
• Address tax queries and audits from IRAS (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore).
• Provide clients with tax advice
• Engage with clients to resolve tax issues
• Work with other teams to gather information for tax assessments.
• Keep abreast of tax and FRS updates and help to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare compilation FS in accordance to FRS
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
• Discharge duties as required by team heads.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hands on computations for ECI, Form C, corporate tax and compilation FS is a must
• A proactive mindset for process improvement with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently.
• Proficient in excel.
• Friendly and cheerful disposition , mild temperament and good interpersonal skills for interactions with clients and colleagues.

Job Responsibilties & Duties

• Lead and prepare all billings, credit assessments, aging, collections and reconciliations for the effective and efficient management of Accounts Receivables for SP Group
• Actively monitor and manage overdue AR accounts, implementing effective credit control strategies to minimize risk and maintain client relationships.
• Be involved in debt recovery for overdue client accounts and liaising with internal departments to resolve outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.
• Lead and record all supplier invoices, aging, payments and reconciliations for the effective and efficient management of Accounts Payable for SP Group.

• Actively participate in the Kaizen initiatives for Fin Ops team
• Assist team lead in managing the Fin Ops Team to ensure smooth flow and timeliness of financial operations

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate recording and processing of expense items
• Payment processing for local and foreign suppliers
• Monitoring of cash flow
• Perform month-end closing to meet deadlines including reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and preparation of audit schedules
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of regional office/entity accounting by liaising with local accounting and tax partners
• Provide local accounting with monthly Oracle transaction details and supporting documents
• Verify the reconciliation of Oracle to local set of books prepared by outsource firm are in order and explain variances
• Prepare monthly GST/ VAT return for submission in a timely manner
• Manage queries from internal and external customers, liaise with banks, auditors, tax and accounting consultants
• Perform special assignments and projects as required and any ad-hoc duties as and when required

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualifications, Chartered Accountant will be a plus
• At least 3 years' relevant working experience
• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Knowledge of Oracle preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. At ease working in a multicultural environment and able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision and able to prioritize effectively
