The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters for the APAC regional office which includes tax planning and advisory, tax accounting, transfer pricing, compliance, reporting as well as VAT/GST. You will work closely with the regional and global tax teams as well as external tax advisors to ensure compliance and alignment to business objectives.

This is a highly visible role within the APAC regional office and you will have the opportunity to advise key management on tax implication and exposure as well as tax efficient structures and strategies for new business ventures, acquisitions and investments.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience

• At least 6 years of relevant exposure in taxation within an MNC environment
• Experience in the full suite of corporate tax including transfer pricing and GST will be highly preferred
• Familiar with tax audits and experience in handling tax objections and tax appeal process
• Prior regional exposure
• Exposure within an SAP environment
