The successful candidate will play a key role in providing tax compliance and advisory services to our corporate clients, reporting to the Tax Manager.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to a portfolio of corporate clients in diverse industries.

· Handle corporate income tax compliance work for a portfolio of clients, including public listed companies and SMEs. This includes preparation of income tax computations as well as Form C tax returns.

· Respond to tax queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) regarding clients' tax matters. This may involve lodging Notices of Objection with the IRAS when necessary.

· Work on ad-hoc tax advisory projects such as cross-border tax advisory, group restructuring, and tax due diligence projects as assigned by management.

· Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the tax team.

Requirements:

· Studies in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory services.

· Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and compliance requirements.

· Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of full credit management cycle within SEAPT including the invoicing, tracking and communication with customers & internal teams like sales and operations, and the collection processes
• Involve in billing of intercompany charges and billings
• Daily updating of actual cash proceeds
• Forecast the cash collection, and to drive collection performance with other teams, and to forecast the weekly and monthly forecasted collections
• Verification of final invoices with supporting
• Manage the bi-annual 3rd party credit limit on existing non-intercompany credit customers with support of 3rd party credit report, and to discuss with sales and finance director on any credit adjustment
• Work with sales team with regards to setting up of new customer account with credit analysis and proposed credit limit
• Handle the month-end & quarter-end financial closing, reporting & reconciliation process in IFS with regards to Accounts Receivable & Debtors’
• To work with other teams and customers to resolve any operational issue which might cause a delay in collections
• To manage the trade payment tools like Bank Guarantee & Letter of Credit, and to work with HSBC bank and customers for successful execution
• Perform month-end financial closing and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Manage tax and transfer pricing reporting
• Involve in continuous improvement projects
• Comply to internal controls and assist with internal and external audits as needed.
• To support the finance team & management as and when in need

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• With at least 3 years of credit & AR management and trade tools like BG & LC
• Experience in doing simple full set of accounts up to TB
• Experience in IFS/ SAP, ERP system or similar

Purpose:
To provide high quality service deliverables to the firm’s Private Equity (PE) Clients you are responsible for, ensuring all deliverables are met and the clients expectations are managed and met on a day to day basis.
This entails reviewing all Financial Statements and disclosures and ad-hoc client deliverables in relation to providing fund administration services to PE clients.
Expected to help improve the processes and efficiencies of the department.
Be subject matter expert of PE Fund Structures accounting and administration processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Managing financial servicing for a portfolio of PE clients ensuring the smooth running of day to day relationship with clients and consistent delivery of client reporting/ information accurately and on time
• Be an ‘expert’ on designated clients including understanding technical details of their LPA, SLA, Fee Agreement and any technical nuances
• Minimise risk to IQ-EQ by ensuring all procedures and checklists are followed by all team members
• Liaise with auditors, banks, brokers, custodian and regulatory authorities i.e. ACRA, IRAS, MAS, CIMA

Tasks / Duties:
Client Delivery

• Deliver timely quality service to the client to ensure all requests for designated clients are met, ensuring any client/investor queries are responded to within 24 hours
• Complete a review on designated client work (includes NAV, Financial Statements and other Ad Hoc Tasks) and assist on reviews for other teams as required
• Ensure that KPIs are developed, implemented and reported quarterly in accordance with agreed SLA’s
• Prepare quarter end timetable for all client work and manage quarter end process to ensure all deliverables adequately resourced and completed on time
• Maintain regular contact with client through weekly phone calls and emails detailing upcoming deliverables and progress thereof.
• Assist with new business take on where required.

Management of Workflow

• Work with Back Office on client deliverables to ensure adequate resources are allocated and fully utilised
• Ensure Back Office are preparing all work to a standard suitable for client review
• Provide constructive feedback to Back Office on a timely basis and ensure Back Office receive appropriate development support
• Plan workloads and utilise support team / additional resources where necessary to ensure deadlines are achieved
• Ensure reconciled cash balances are maintained for clients at all times.
• IQ-EQ Fee Management
• Ensure our electronic time sheets are completed daily, and accurately for all hours worked and recording ad hoc work completed for billing purposes

Systems

• Understand and use best practice on Investran (accounting platform)
• Understand and make best use of the functionality in our software when producing accounts
• Ensure client database is up to date and accurate in Investran (contact changes completed within 24 hours of receipt) and Outlook databases for client related changes

Risk

• Ensure relevant procedures and checklists are adhered to by staff to minimise risk of errors
• Report any breaches, complaints or errors to Compliance officer promptly
• Ensure all error reports are completed for review by the Senior Accountant on the day an error is identified

Other

• Undertake any additional reasonable requests as deemed by the firm

JOB SCOPE

• Responsible to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close in accordance with Ecolab Policy, US GAAP as well as local GAAP.
• Support the general ledger team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information requested by Regional and Corporate office.
• Review and rectify inter-companies reconciliations.
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the business and general ledger structure.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registrar for all entities including assets under constructions to capitalizing of assets in compliance with Ecolab Fixed Assets policy.
• Review journal entries prepared by team members.
• Review the monthly reconciliations to ensure they are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with the Financial Controller to lead, plan, coordinate, execute and complete timely year end audit (both external and internal audit), as well as tax filings.
• Collaborates with the other finance functional leads to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Responds to inquiries from other Divisions regarding financial results, special reporting requests and details drill down to transactional lines as required.
• Support Financial Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
• Support Financial Controller with the roll out of new Accounting Standards/internal controls training, as required.
• Any other ad-hoc task and special project that will be assigned.

Requirements:

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or its equivalent
• At least 5 years recent audit working experience in similar capacity
• Good working knowledge of SAP, Accpac and HFM
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
• Well-organized and possess good interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight datelines
