Job Description:

• Manage full set of accounting operations and monthly closing activities
• Laise with external auditor on statutory audit
• Prepare audit schedules and handling queries

• Other accounting duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and ACCA preferred
• Min 5 years of working experience in main contractor
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise a team

· Support the Manager in finalizing monthly financial reports of Singapore companies

· Liaise with group companies for inter-companies’ billings, reconciliations and enhance projects invoicing work flow

· Prepare audit schedules, audit reports / financial statements with the Manager

· Prepare group consolidation of accounts with the Manager

· Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines

· Liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, local tax and government authorities when required

· Support and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and submissions

· Assist in new processes and system implementation when required

· Perform and participate on other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Qualifications:

· Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Business/ACCA, or equivalent

· Min 5 years of relevant working experience in audit, finance, accounting and/or tax

· Able to work independently to handle full sets of accounts.

· Proficient in financial software and Microsoft office

· Prior working experience in audit firm would be advantageous

· Able to work at short notice

We are looking for a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to support the Regional Office Finance function with responsibilities in group financial reporting & consolidation, system implementation and acting as a key Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

This role is based in Singapore, with the office located in Yishun. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager.

• Handle group monthly consolidation preparation and reporting.
• Perform account reconciliation, ensure proper intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Review inter-company activity and balances and prepare group audit schedule and other group reports.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting pack, annual audit and ensure timely filling of statutory financial statements and group reporting.
• Submission of ad hoc group information in support of HQ business decision making.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of financial data to support group reporting.
• Ensure accounting reports are in compliance with accounting standards.
• Highlights exceptions and provides feedback to management on key findings.
• Assist in process improvement, procedure and policy review and system implementation.
• Support Treasury for group cash management.
• Support Tax on providing financial related information and schedules.
• Any other ad hoc assignments as required.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in group consolidation and system implementation, with commercial exposure.
• Experience in business partnering and liaising with various stakeholders.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure.
