Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team at Business Tax Accountancy Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall growth of the business.
Responsibilities
Client Accounts Management
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and accounts for clients.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with clients regarding their financial and compliance needs.
Team Supervision
- Provide guidance and support to junior/senior team members.
- Review and approve work prepared by associates to ensure accuracy and quality.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure timely submission of GST returns, and other regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with BTA's appointed tax agents for the submission of corporate tax filings.
- Stay updated with changes in local laws and accounting standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes.
- Contribute to the adoption and implementation of new accounting tools and technologies.
Client Engagement and Development
- Assist in client relationship management to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying client needs and opportunities.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or tax services, preferably within a professional services environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
