(b) Attend to students’ drop in at Student Management Centre during and after school hours and liaise to update teachers/ Year Heads (YH) / Heads of Department (HOD) / School Leaders (SL) when needed

3. Case Management and follow-up

(a) Collaborate with Student Management Team to monitor the development of students sent for disciplinary measures.

(b) Refer and update HOD/ YH/ SL on potential issues related to pupils and school discipline, based on information & personal observation.

(c) Conduct follow-up actions with students offenders after investigations conclude such as monitoring and supervising the completion of assignments, on in-house suspension, afterschool detention, etc.

(d) Daily sign-in/out for students on movement monitoring

(e) Assist HOD and YH to follow up on frequent absentees,

(f) Accompany officers on house calls and home visits.

(g) Assist HOD/SM to liaise with Police/ relevant authorities to verify students’ involvement, and case follow-ups, where needed.

4. Maintain school tone

(a) Work together with other School Management team members and Operations Managers (OM) in ensuring school security and maintaining overall school tone.

(b) Conduct regular monitoring and foot patrolling within and outside school

(c) Active monitoring of non-structured school hours where student masses gather such as recess and after school to prevent disruptive behaviours.

(d) Check on external visitors and liaise with other school officers to attend to visitors’ needs.

5. Other Duties:

(a) Collaborate with relevant HOD/Key Personnel in-charge of School and National examinations, to provide support during the examination period, by:-

He/she works as part of a curriculum team to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement in one or more curriculum specialisms. An expert in their subject area they will contribute to the positive reputation of the school through their professional relationships with students, parents, and the wider community. As a Homeroom Teacher they will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment to support the social, emotional and development of those in their care.

Responsibilities

Teaching

• Prepare the annual scheme of work and lesson plans based on their subject(s) curriculum framework
• Identify and use a range of teaching materials and resources including educational technology platforms and apps to provide engaging student-centred learning that sets high expectations for students
• Ensure that they establish and maintain an inclusive, collaborative, and purposeful learning environment that meets the needs of all learners whether in person or online during home-based learning
• Lesson plans should be differentiated to meet the needs of all learners and utilise appropriate teaching resources and strategies. Where appropriate teachers should work with the Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Teaching Assistants and other agencies to identify and put support in place for learners with additional needs including English as an Additional Language (EAL), Gifted and Talented(G&T) and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
• Implement and use school behaviour management policies to maintain a purposeful and safe learning environment including managing the use of online teaching and learning platforms.
• Prepare appropriate and challenging homework tasks and set these as per the subject homework schedule. Where necessary, the teacher must upload these to the appropriate educational technology platforms and seek the appropriate approvals from the Head of Department to ensure that they are published in a timely manner
• Complete Teacher Unit Reflection and Student Unit Reflection as scheduled in the academic calendar and identify areas for improvement and action plans to share with co-teachers and Head of Department
• Always ensure the health and safety of all learners

Assessment, Recording and Reporting and Administration

• Keep accurate and timely records of all student’s work
• Follow the school marking policy including setting and returning classwork and homework
• Provide timely appropriate, constructive, and formative feedback to students on their work. Both in notebooks and online learning management systems including My Maths, Seesaw and Firefly
• Prepare formative and summative question papers and a marking scheme as per the requirement of the policies and procedures of the school
• Always adhere to school’s assessment marking and moderation policies
• Analyse and appropriately use assessment information, which has been gathered from Formative and Summative assessments, to identify areas for improvement to improve learner outcomes.
• Write school reports in line with school’s policy
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and keep parents informed about their child’s performance and next steps in learning
• Ensure academic honesty is maintained by students and teacher

Extracurricular Activities

• Support school activities including clubs, annual days, collaborations, language weeks and STEAM weeks
• Participate and contribute to the extra-curricular programme at NPSI including OBT and interschool competitions and events
• Carry out supervision or other duties that help maintain a safe and orderly environment for extracurricular activities
• As an individual or within a team, develop and host competitions and other events relevant to the subject

Pastoral Care

• The Primary Teacher will ensure that students’ social and emotional needs are met through safe and supportive pastoral routines and procedures. These should ensure an atmosphere of mutual respect, friendship and collaboration at all times including registration, breaks and during class teaching time
• The teacher should report any Additional Needs, Child Protection or Safeguarding concerns immediately to their line manager or the designated school officer and maintain accurate records of concerns in the child’s anecdotal notes
• The teacher should maintain professional and effective communications with parents and carers using the school diary, electronic platforms
• The teacher should maintain accurate student attendance records including fire drill records

Performance Management and Professional Development

• All Primary Teachers are observed on a regular basis through learning walks and observations. These may be undertaken by Level Coordinators, Primary Leadership Team, Heads of Department, or other colleagues. After being undertaken timely feedback will be provided.
• The teacher will participate in a mid-term and end of year performance appraisal to assess their performance
• The School will support the continuing professional development of the teacher and give appropriate opportunities to ensure that the teacher’s expertise is being kept up to date with the latest pedagogical trends
• The teacher shall be respectful to all colleagues and maintain effective working relationships
• The teacher shall be committed to lifelong learning, open to new ideas, and willing to take up professional development courses and where requested engage in professional mentoring and coaching

Other Responsibilities

• The teacher shall adhere to the terms and conditions of employment at the school and implement the terms of the employee handbook and policies and procedures of the school
• Teachers are required to undertake invigilation/supervisory/proxy duties when requested by the school
• On occasion the teacher is required to undertake other additional duties to support the needs of students, or the school as requested by the Head of School or Primary Principal, which includes weekends from time to time.

Job Duties
- On-job training on teaching techniques, drawing demonstration, colour coordination
- Composition layout and colour scheme of lesson plan will be provided and briefed everytime before the classes begin
- Teach children age 3 to 8 years old to draw and paint according to our drawing layout and lesson plan
- Small group class, 2 to 4 students per teacher
- Work on every Sunday 9:15am to 2:45pm regularly for at least six months
- Pay $10 per hour, ½ hour lunch not paid

Requirement:
- proficient in both drawing and painting, especially subjects / styles that are appealing to kids, 'O' level art or equivalent
