• Assess each student’s progress during their work on the Speech and Drama Curriculum against defined learning outcomes.

Collaboration and Relationship Management

• Work with the Assistant Principal for Enrichment on matters relating to the Drama and Media enrichment CCAs.
• Communicate with classroom teachers, and the Head of Music, in the organisation of class performances and concerts.
• Work with outside agencies to bring different Speech and Drama opportunities into the school.

Resource Management

• Maintain, and grow, the schools costume and prop resources as well as the media suite and its equipment.
• Manage the Speech and Drama and allocate and source resources appropriately
• Lead professional learning on all equipment relating to drama, media, and performing arts such as microphones, lighting, camera, stagecraft etc.

SJI International Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chinese Performing Arts Teacher to inspire and nurture young minds through creative and cultural expression. This position will begin in July 2025. We require an educator with proven experience in Chinese performing arts to enhance Chinese language proficiency, cultural appreciation, and performing skills.
