The appointee will ideally be able to teach IBDP Economics, our bespoke UWC Economics course which is designed for grade 9 and 10 students, and potentially IBDP Business Management at UWCSEA East Campus. SJI International Elementary School is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic PE Teacher to inspire and encourage our students to be involved in physical activities through the curriculum and extracurricular programmes. This position will begin in July 2025. We require a PE Teacher who has experience of teaching PE in both English and Chinese and could offer Chinese cultural activities within the programme such as Taichi. The successful candidate should have proven experience of teaching students between 4 and 12 years of age. His/her background would be in international schools where a wide range of physical activities has been taught including swimming. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED

• National Education teacher or equivalent profile
• Holder of a CAPA SH (preferably option G) or a CAPPEI
• Teaching experience in nursery and/or primary education required
• Experience in an international context appreciated
• Organisational skills and cooperation with families and school partners
• Responsiveness and availability
• Ability to adapt and caring attitude
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and to take on the role of resource person
• Good command of digital tools
• Ability to adapt to non-French-speaking students
• Fluency in English (B2 level and above) appreciated for working with bilingual (French and English-speaking) students and families.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time positions of 27 hours/week
• Remuneration based on diploma, experience and IFS salary scale
• Start date: end of August 2025
