Job Responsibilities

• Perform gas installation work and gas supply turn-on in domestic units
• Perform soundness test on gas installation.
• Perform site survey on gas installation feasibility and rectification work.
• Ensure gas installation comply with the Code of Practice (SS608), Regulations, SOP etc.
• Coordinate with the relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies on installation matters.
• Attend to customer enquiries/ feedback and perform service recoveries.
• Report writing.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor, which may include driving company vehicle to attend to work arrangements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
• Relevant work experience and technical knowledge in gas, plumbing, sanitary, or electrical systems will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in contract management and customer service.
• Possess a driving license (class 2 & 3), preferably with access to personal transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the requirements and functional solution aspects of the System and all the interconnectivity with external parties
• Analyze and manage the operation backlog and develop business case to address the problem.
• Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the stakeholders needs.
• Work with the stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of the enhancements
• Prepare documentation (e.g. SOPs) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems and identify use cases to automate BAU processes
• Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution.
• Maintains document repositories used by teams and assists with project documentation as needed
• Analyse and streamline operations to minimise recurrent issues

• Proven experience in managing operations, handling of issues, and systems monitoring.

• Design and implement solutions (e.g. process optimisation, process automation, digital solutions and systems) that deliver operational excellence and productivity savings.
• Work with the stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of new solution, including change management activities to ensure buy-in for the solution.
• Perform business analysis:

i. Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring: Identify stakeholders, techniques, and processes to manage, track

and trace requirements.

ii. Enterprise Analysis: Refine and clarify business need, define solution scope, and develop business case.

iii. Elicitation: Explore, identify, and document business needs

iv. Requirements Analysis: Assess current state, analyse stated requirements of stakeholders, and elaborate to

sufficient detail that accurately defines business need within specified scope.

v. Solution Assessment and Validation: Source and evaluate alternatives to identify solution that best fit

business needs, identify gaps, and determine workarounds/changes to the solution. Assess deployed solutions

or revamped processes to see how well they met the original need

• Manage conflicts, issues, and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders.
• Prepare end user documentation (training manual, user manual, business process flows) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems, or implementation of new standard operating procedures.
• Lead and perform system validation activities and user acceptance tests.
• Review performance of the solution measurement metrics and provide recommendations to continue to optimize current business processes.
• Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution.
• Maintains document repositories used by project teams and assists with project documentation as needed.

What we are looking for

• Business Analysis certification (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®), Certified Business Analysis
• Professional™ (CBAP®)) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles
• Past track record in business analysis, application solutioning and design
• Ability to model business requirements in business process modelling tool.
• Ability to perform qualitative, quantitative and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to facilitate discussions/workshops to elicit, manage and prioritise key business needs.
• Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.
