· Design test strategy, test plan and test cases

· Proactively drive automation and script-based activities to promote efficiency and reusability of work products such as that for testing, migration of artifacts from one tenant to another, production validation, etc.

· Diligent and detailed documentation of work products

· Support or conduct production deployment

· Be able to travel to customer site (maybe within or outside Singapore) as the business requirements may dictate

· Translating the business and technical requirements to product backlog and user stories

· Be able to analyze and document the technical dependencies, user story/epic dependencies and integration dependencies of each user story

· Support in timeline and man days/effort estimation for the project plan, and for change requests

· Proactively trigger discussions on potential change requests or scope creep to the project lead, project manager or Thakral One management

Work closely with RE / SRE on day-to-day site operations.

Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software and MS Office.

Registered with JAC as a Resident Technical Officer.

RTO Certificate accreditation by IES/ACES.

Criteria:

· 20+ years of development experience in T24 platforms as well as in providing solutioning expertise to the Development team.

· Exposure to Latest T24 release R19+ and to T24 Upgrade processes.

· T24 performance optimization and T24 data Archiving.

· Experience with Tivoli, Dynatrace, Splunk or similar tools for logging and monitoring.

· Oracle DB concepts relevant to T24, Linux scripts.

· Understanding of deployment architecture and infrastructure.

· Experience in T24 Upgrades and data migration best practices.

· Possess excellent communication, written, oral and interpersonal skills.

· Experience working in Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure onboard vessels and at onshore facilities including networks, hardware, software, servers, and communication systems.
• Managing communication systems such as satellite communication, radio communication, and other data transmission systems to enable effective real-time communication between vessels, shore offices, and other stakeholders.
• Implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect vessels and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards for data protection.
• Work closely with Fleet division for Vessel related project
• Lead and guide Fleet IT team

Reporting to the Head, Business Planning & Integration, the candidate will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analysing data to provide valuable business insights. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand data needs, visualize data effectively, and where applicable, build interactive dashboards for ongoing analysis. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within English/Malay/Tamil Media Newsrooms.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with internal stakeholders to identify data needs and extract relevant data from various sources.

• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis.

• Analyse data using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights that are relevant to business objectives.

• Collaborate with team members to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.

• Develop and implement data visualisation strategies to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Utilise data visualisation tools to create intuitive graphs, charts, and other visual representations of data.

• Design and build dashboards that provide real-time insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating the ability to extract, clean, and analyse data.

• Experience in working with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil data analysis needs.

• Hands-on experience in visualising data and building dashboards.

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R or Python.

• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Familiarity with dashboard development tools and techniques.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team and with stakeholders from different functional areas.

• Creative problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for identifying and addressing business challenges through data analysis.
