• Perform fine-tuning, troubleshooting, modification and programming of the Control System as needed to improve system performance and optimize process operation needs.
• Response to 24-hour emergency call-out and provide night-shift support during plant startup, shutdown and as requested by Operation Team.
• Work closely with the Instrument Team to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation problems.
• Work with the Project Team to develop requirements and/or specifications of control system for projects and modifications; supervise & implement the project works according to the schedule and requirements.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance works for plant turnaround.
• Perform strategy planning for control system expansion, upgrading and renewal.

Job Requirements

• Familiar and hand-on with the engineering tools and programming languages of control systems (Honeywell, Siemens PCS7 and Triconex), able to make program modifications and configuration changes confidently.
• Experienced and familiar with various phases of project works such as engineering, fabrication & construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge and experience with computer system networking, server/client and virtualization architectures.
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, major in Control is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience working and maintaining Honeywell DCS, Siemens PCS7, Triconex PLC and etc.

Job Scope:

• Lead design and analysis of structural systems, ensuring compliance with codes
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Review and approve designs by junior engineers
• Collaborate with architects and contractors for cohesive project development
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Stay updated on industry trends and materials
• Prepare and present technical reports for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in civil and structural works
• Mandatory experience in infrastructure projects; site experience in MRT or underground roadway projects preferred
• Design management experience with consultants in structural engineering
• Recommended experience working as a consultant
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of local authority requirements
• Positive attitude, good discipline, and strong teamwork skills

• Generate reports and present findings to relevant personnel.
• Provide remote troubleshooting support through emails, ensuring customer issues are resolved promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
