Job Responsibilities

• The Data Framework provides a central data store for all the Front Office Orders, RFQs, Transactions and Collateral information.
• It also provides Market Data sourcing, Data distribution, client, instrument and referential data and is driven by an electronic Data Dictionary application : Collibra.It acts as a source of data for different regulatory reportings (MAR , MIFID 2 , SFTR , EMIR, MAS, HKTR…. etc).
• The Data Framework team is looking for a development expert to evolve the platform to handle the end to end regulatory reporting chain starting from data ingestion , normalization, transformation until reporting and monitoring across various asset classes.
• The project milestones are ambitious and challenging.
• The responsibilities would include designing and architecturing on new technology stack and making technical recommendations and to monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.
• Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.
• Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
• Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

Job Qualification

An Ideal candidate should have:

• Experienced in leading technical design from inception.
• At least 8 years of software development experience with ability to solve complex IT issues.
• Good knowledge of strategic IT solutions and hands-on experience in software development.
• A strong understanding of recent Java language features.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis
• Strong ability to analyze code – understand execution flow & debug even without access to a debugger
• At least 5 years of experience with Sql Server or any other RDBM
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and toolings
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties:

- Computer Science

- Information Technology

- Programming & Systems Analysis

The candidate would need to possess the below skills/expertise:

• Java 8 development with multi-threading principles, good knowledge of Java data structure and objects.
• Apache Storm/Flink/Spark

• Experience of working with large scale Sql Server database
