This role focuses on maintaining and improving UnetStack, our open software framework for underwater networking for embedded platforms, developing efficient communication protocols and integrating cutting-edge embedded hardware to create a compelling product. Key Responsibilities:

• UnetStack Development & Maintenance:Enhance and maintain the UnetStack framework and its agents for underwater communication networks.
  Develop optimized protocol agents to improve bandwidth efficiency and reliability.
  
• Embedded Systems Integration:Interface with and adapt UnetStack to run on new embedded hardware platforms.
  Debug and optimize communication systems for compatibility with various hardware configurations.
  
• Sensor and Modem Driver Development:Develop and integrate sensor drivers for UnetStack-compatible devices, such as acoustic and optical modems.
  Ensure robust data acquisition and real-time communication in underwater environments.
  
• Simulation and Testing:Utilize the Unet simulator for protocol development and performance testing.
  Conduct simulations in both real-time and discrete-event modes to validate network configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Work closely with other domain specialist to design complex solutions
• Analyze business requirements to develop technical solutions and system design
