This is an entry level position. Overtime payments will form a substantial part of your remuneration.

You will be part of a busy fuelling and logistics services operation in a fuel depot and wharf management environment.

After training, you will be involved in the operations of installation machinery, equipment, pipelines, handling of large fuel hoses and routine maintence tasks. You will also carry out other duties as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Work with group companies to collect, clean, and preprocess datasets to ensure data quality and reliability
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Ability to data manipulation and apply statistical methods to transform data into actionable insights for business stakeholders (familiar with regression and time series analysis)
• Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, BI dashboards, and presentations
• Automate existing recurring reports and analyses
• Design and develop the data architecture for BI solutions
• Build data pipelines where necessary for the development of visualization solutions

Experience

Skill

• Proficient in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros and complex data functions.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and report insights.
• Ability to handle large datasets, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights.
