Job Description
• Develop detailed plans and architectures for radio frequency translation.
• Evaluate gain, noise parameters (NF, SNR), dynamic range, linearity, and power consumption to ensure the design is robust and predictable.
• Collaborate with CAD engineers to implement PCB designs, emphasizing clean power supply and interconnects for required EMI and RF transmission performance.
• Participate in design reviews and prepare documentation at all stages of development through to final prototype testing and characterization.
• Conduct parametric evaluation of transceivers including Pout, IMD/IP3, EVM, and noise parameters using spectrum analyzers, modulation analyzers, and perform wireless link-level functional evaluations to complete product characterization
• Collaborate with product engineers on certification procedures, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Transfer of Technology (ToT) for large-scale production.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics Communication Engineering or Digital Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an RF system hardware engineer with a proven track record of meeting industry delivery standards in relevant areas.
• Strong interpersonal and creative skills, able to multitask in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience in designing and integrating RF, Analog, and Mixed Signal blocks such as PA, LNA, mixer, frequency synthesizer, filter, coupler, detector, microcontroller, etc., with knowledge of deriving specifications from system-level requirements.
• Experience with basic CAD tools and proficiency in evaluation workflows and operation of relevant test equipment to assess product performance
. • Experience in script writing (e.g., Bash, Python) is advantageous for test automation.
