• Design, develop, and maintain software components for our trading platform, including features related to OCBS, OTC, and spot trading.
• Implement risk management algorithms and tools to monitor and mitigate trading risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize services using Java (8/11), Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS to facilitate real-time data processing and communication.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes (K8S) for containerization and orchestration of applications to enhance deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on financial or trading systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11) and Spring framework.
• Experience with blockchain technologies, particularly smart contracts (Solidity).
• Familiarity with trading concepts like OCBS, OTC, and risk management.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.

The Project Engineer is responsible for executing the company projects, and liaising with customers and vendors on all technical and commercial aspects of the project, as well as field staff on the installation, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and delivery of DeltaV application system on site.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Development Commissioning & Qualification protocols from C&Q Plans
• Creates and maintains applications according to technical design and requirements.
• Develop and/or review System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables, compliant with the site’s standards. Determine the processes and data flow that supports the needs of the project.
• Design & Develop plan for modifications to be made to the system through working with team in development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all stages.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industry.
• Emerson DeltaV DCS experience and DeltaV Batch experience required
• Experience in the Designing, Commissioning & Qualifications of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.
• Technical proficiency on controls systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systems.
• Through understanding of Batch s88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
• Familiarity with GAMP lifecycle and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Supervise and conduct system testing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and customer orientation skills
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ensure project Automation Strategy is followed.
