Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer is to support the company’s on-going technology innovation and implementation of system solutions to support our bus fleet management. The incumbent is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. He/she is largely expected to work in an office environment, although he/she is likely to be required to travel to our off-site offices for meetings/training support. On occasion, he/she may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support in the running of special programmes.

Minimum Qualifications

• More than 6 years of experience in Software Quality engineering with at least one object oriented programming language such as Java and related frameworks
• Prior experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL), Open source testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Gauge, Playwright etc), working in Linux/Unix environments
• Advanced knowledge of creating Quality automation frameworks from scratch, QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools
• Working knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Experience automating functional & integration testing of applications on Apple operating systems and devices
• Experience testing in Java, SQL, Unix, Scala, NoSQL, and Web Services (Rest & SOAP) environments

He/She supervises the operations and maintenance of equipment and systems. He leads the initiatives for identifying and implementing innovation within the organisation. He also follows corporate guidelines and best practices, monitoring compliance of work activities to regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations. He implements emergency response plans and adheres to workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements. He manages a team of technicians and contributes to the improvement of business operations.
