1. Ensure that company policy related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality Assurance (HSEQA) issues are effectively implemented and regularly monitored for its compliance in relation to operation of the fleet vessels. To advise Corporate Compliance Manager (CCM) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) in writing any information related to the vessel or crew’s inability to comply with ESM’s environmental measures and any other marine environmental protection requirements.
2. Oversee that all items pertaining to health, safety, security and pollution prevention are regularly checked with the aim of achieving high standards of safe and pollution free voyages and general wellbeing of all onboard the vessels.
3. Overall supervision of all Superintendents in the assigned fleet.
4. Maintains contact with Classification societies, shipyards, repair firms, industry groups, trade associations, equipment manufacturers and designers, Government bodies and other organizations that may be helpful to carry out the assigned duties and responsibilities.
5. Ensures that approved budgets are maintained by closely checking the day-to-day expenses of the vessels and by monitoring inventory control of stores and spares. Monitors performance of vessels, compliance with all applicable safety and pollution prevention regulations, certification status of vessels and ensure that vessels are always maintained in seaworthy condition and trading certificates are valid.
6. Ensures that Superintendents carry out routine vessel inspections as stipulated and submit inspection reports. Plans for carrying out dry-docking and major repairs in coordination with principals after making the cost comparison of various yards and repairers in the most efficient and cost-effective manner by directing and assisting concerned Superintendents.
7. To ensure that all technical reports as required by various Principals are timely prepared by Superintendents, checked by him and dispatched.
8. To monitor major deficiencies/defects that exist in the vessels and ensure timely corrective actions are taken in order that the vessels’ performance and safety is not jeopardized.
9. To project operating cost expenses pertaining to technical items before the yearly budgets are prepared.
10. To verify all incoming reports from the vessels and identify areas which require immediate attention and initiate/ monitor corrective actions by concerned Superintendents.
11. Closely monitor performance of all vessels and ensure that all Charter Party requirements are being fulfilled. Identify reasons for deviation if any and ensure that remedial measures are taken.
12. To ensure handling of insurance matters for his fleet ships is conducted as per guided in Technical Department Procedures. S/He shall be familiar with deductibles, claims and communications requirements of H&M and P&I Policy for ships under his charge in order to guide superintendents. S/He shall also ensure preparations of necessary documentation pertaining to Hull and Machinery and P&I insurance claims for the vessels and forward these to the underwriters through accounts department for processing of claims.
13. To carry out periodical inspection of vessels as directed by Director/Assistant Director, Technical, prepare a detailed report; formulate an up-gradation plan and follow-up progress with the Superintendent and the vessel.
14. To instruct/ assist Superintendents prepare repair specifications and coordinate with various repair firms for effecting major repairs, if any, during the voyage without incurring delay to vessel.
15. For matters pertaining to accident handling, equipment breakdown and safety and pollution prevention aspects, act as the link between the vessel and the office.
16. To monitor the assigned fleet to ensure compliance with all the applicable legal requirements.
17. To ensure that vessels under his control (including the officers and crew members) diligently comply with the Environment Management System including the Engineering requirements.
18. To review the performance and adequacy of shipboard Equipment used for the processing of waste streams and propose any modifications, upgrades or replacements that may be necessary.
19. To ensure that observations and any recommendations resulting from an audit under this Environment Management System on his group of vessels are appropriately resolved to the satisfaction of the Corporate Compliance Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business, or Real Estate from a recognised educational institution
• Up to two (2) years of working experience in Real Estate, Finance or Investment related industry
• An independent self-starter with a high level of initiative, sound business acumen and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly analytical and proficient in property related cash flow modelling.
• Experience in implementing sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
• Knowledge of European real estate markets, along with the ability to speak one or more European languages is advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement all aspects of planning and operations relating to the realisation of exhibitions and other projects, as well as, care of artwork collections
• Organise and develop a full project life cycle project plans for the production management activities, including overseeing workflow, budget & costs management, timeline setting, project administration and exhibition set up and maintenance, logistics, design, fabrication and artwork/project installation for local and travelling exhibitions / projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Analysing and managing project risk, monitoring progress and taking corrective measures
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Responsible and manage day to day maintenance of museum displays
• Manage physical facilities for exhibitions and projects, including gallery spaces, art handling areas and exhibition stores
• Review and keep up with current trends and best practices that may have an impact on exhibition/project planning, logistics and museum management issues
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal resourcing, working relationships and fostering key networks

Responsibilities

• Champion the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSEQA) policies to ensure compliance in the operation of fleet vessels. Provide timely reports to the Corporate Compliance Manager (CCM) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) on any non-compliance issues regarding environmental measures and marine protection requirements.
• Collaborate with the Director of HR & Crew to oversee the comprehensive HR infrastructure and assets of the Executive Group. Coordinate with team leaders to maintain and optimize all assets in alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
• Engage with HR teams and Department Heads across the organization to enhance the delivery of HR functions and services.
• Support the Director of HR & Crew in managing the Human Resource Management of shore staff for the ESM Group. Develop and implement HR strategies, including defining departmental responsibilities, recruitment, training, records management, succession planning, employee relations, and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to assess training needs for all roles and devise plans for compliance and performance enhancement.
• Aid the Director of HR & Crew in formulating and monitoring HR budgets covering key areas such as Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Training, Events, Travel, and Employee Welfare.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements across all offices under the guidance of the Director of HR.
• Foster a performance-driven culture by conducting evaluations in line with company policy. Review and recommend annual adjustments to awards, wage structures, and welfare benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

1. Educational Qualification should be a holder of Master Mariner Lisc. (Unlimited FG) on Bulk Careers or Tankers.
2. Must have sailed as Chief Engineer on Bulk Carriers or Tankers.
3. Minimum 3 Year Experience in Senior Officer Rank on Foreign Going Tanker Vessels.
4. Proficient in PMS, ISM, PSC, Flag & Class requirements.
5. Preferably not have changed companies during last 5 years.
6. Previous working experience of at least 1 year handling Foreign Going vessels as Marine Superintendent is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cost-effective maintenance of LNG vessels and their equipment to ensure safe, delay-free operation and compliance with the flag state administration and applicable class and industrial standards.
• Monitor and maintain vessel deck and engine planned maintenance system.
• Monitor and arrange statutory and classification surveys for vessels.
• Coordinate the supply of stores, supplies, spares, and consumables.
• Coordinate the repairs, defect rectifications, and modifications.
• Monitor adherence to company standards and charterer requirements.
• Assist in controlling and monitoring costs relevant to the technical department.
• Maintain and upkeep technical manuals, drawings, and catalogs from makers and yards.
• Attend shipyard and classification societies in technical matters.
• Verify documentation and certifications of new buildings/deliveries.
• Lead the accident/incident investigation related to technical matters such as equipment and failure/malfunction if required.
• Carry out annual vessel technical inspection/audit onboard as scheduled.
• Assist the Group Technical manager in the running of the technical department.
• Execution of additional project-specific technical requirements promptly
• Execute technical modifications for the project, including their approval and certifications as necessary.
• Attend to technical troubles arising during the project and liaise with the makers if required.
• Plan and coordinate technical repairs during the project, including vessel docking as necessary.
• Ensure any defects that may affect the charter are resolved promptly.
• Participate in interviews and makes recommendations regarding new-hires and promotions.
• Monitor vessel performance and ensure follow up action.
• Management of vessel budgets and operating expenditure
• Plan for, monitor, and manage dry-dockings and major scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
• Conduct regular vessel visits to confirm condition and compliance with Company operating standards and provide Vessel Condition Reports.
• Create a partnership with the other departments (HSQE, crewing, operations, etc.) assigned to the same vessels.

Qualifications:

• Experience for more than 3 years of sea service, including a senior marine engineer at least one time, and one year experience LNG carrier with 10,000 Kw above of propulsion output, also large LPG or more than aframax Oil tanker experience or 6 months experience as Chief Engineer preferable.
• Valid Engine COC holder
• Knowledge of ISM, EMS,PMS, Repairs and Dry-Docking repairs
• Good technical knowledge about various marine machinery
