We are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Officer under our Operations Department to grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Review and update KYC profiles for existing customers in adherence to the review.
• Conduct transaction reviews to identify any abnormalities that require further investigations.
• Conduct outreach to Relationship Managers to obtain relevant information to address transaction monitoring alerts.
• Evaluate the completeness of Relationship Managers/Customers response and clarify where required.
• Resolve alerts promptly, ensuring that significant issues are thoroughly investigated and escalated as needed.
• Undertake AML related investigations and prepare Escalation Memos.
• Perform screening of existing customers.
• Responsible for various type of project management in the transaction monitoring space and managing cross-functional relationships with all teams.
• Determines new work procedures, analyses complex and variable issues with significant departmental impact.
• Ensures awareness and full compliance of internal processes, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
• Establishes and maintains close working relationships with stakeholders and within team to facilitate and open and direct communication of issues, needs and queries such that these may be responded to in an efficient, prompt, and professional manner.
• You may be required to carry out such additional duties as the Company may reasonably require.
• You will report to the Head of Transaction Monitoring Unit, or such other person as the Company may designate from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of AML regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, pro-active team player but also able to work independently with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fast learner, strong attention to detail, and willingness to go extra mile.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to join our Legal and Compliance Department. Fresh graduates who are keen to start their career in the compliance field are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

1. AML Transaction Monitoring

• Conduct review of all in-scope Transaction Monitoring (TM) alerts in a timely manner.
• Overseeing the carrying out of ongoing monitoring of account relationships or review/advise of relevant business transactions undertaken.
• Review of internal suspicious transaction.
• Preparing relevant MIS reports for SM on TM ageing and STR lodged.
• Maintain and update local internal blacklist in the AML System, overseeing that the Bank has adequate arrangements to perform AML screening of its customer database.
• To provide KYC onboarding and transactions monitoring coverage on a secondary basis.

2. Special Projects

• To act as project lead for AML projects/initiatives to enhance/improve AML frameworks.
• To manage the timely delivery of all project deliverables.
• To support bank’s conduct of the enterprise-wide risk assessment.
• To ensure timely follow-up of all audit/inspection reports relating to AML/CFT (e.g., Internal/External Audit, MAS).

Requirements

• Possess a university degree in business/finance/banking or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of transaction monitoring experience in a bank. Fresh graduates are welcomed too.
• Demonstrated ability in running projects in school/internships/any working experience.
• Familiarity with corporate transactional patterns is a plus.
• Exposure to MAS regulations and banking products and services would be advantageous.
• Keen interest in digital assets and developments in the DPT space.
• Willing to learn.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, independent, and resourceful.
