Summary:

The Junior Designer, Spatial Experience will play an essential role in enriching visitor experiences through interactive and multimedia content. You will understand and interpret the client’s brand’s design language, contributing to the creation of dynamic digital assets that seamlessly integrate with spatial designs. Collaborating closely with the Senior Experiential & Spatial Designer, you will help develop multimedia elements that elevate SM Connect’s projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design and production of multimedia assets, including motion graphics, interactive displays, and digital content.
• Collaborate with the Senior Designer and Creative Director to ensure a cohesive blend of content and spatial design.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.
• Assist in preparing visual aids and mockups for project presentations.
• Stay updated on new multimedia tools and techniques to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, with a focus on interactive or multimedia design.
• Experience with multimedia design software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Portfolio showcasing interactive and multimedia projects that enhance spatial designs.
• Strong collaborative spirit with the ability to take feedback and apply it effectively.

We are looking to grow our core design team by the addition of young and keen Junior Interior Design staff who are willing to work hard, listen and learn and ultimately contribute across the board in our office. Job Responsibilities:

· Assistance to produce a full the scope of ID documentation from presentation to technical documents.

Qualifications / Skills:

Junior Digital Designer

Work on behaviour change strategic ideas and design for a range of social change communications projects.· Work closely with senior producer and creative director in asset delivery encompassing all aspects of a communications campaign life cycle.· Interpret content strategy briefs and distil production and design requirements.· Day-to-day output ranges from social media assets, banner ads, campaign artwork, visualization of creative ideas, toolkits, deck design, report design and more.· Ensure consistency in designs and content across platforms and formats.· Elevate creative standards by producing engaging work for the target audience.

Main Accountabilities: Responsible for the day-to-day output of design assets.· Apply creative thinking and provide solutions to briefs.· Establish good working relationships with different departments in the company: Creative production, accounts, strategy, media, research.

Reporting:· Responsible for weekly reporting to Creative lead and Head of Production as required.· Report status and progress of projects as and when required by the team.

Experience and Qualifications and Core Skills· Show success in conceptualising creative ideas and visualising them for 360 creative campaigns.· Strong art direction and design portfolio showcasing a range of work across various formats, products, brands. Digital-first work is a must. Knowledge of print design is also important for developing printed assets.· Be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and ideally across After Effects and/or Premier Pro too. Experience operating in a senior capacity in an agency environment.· Strong grasp of communications tools and trends in the Asia region.

Position : Junior Digital Graphic Designer APAC

Reporting to : Digital Graphic Designer APAC

The Role

· Localize key design elements across both digital and print collateral for APAC markets while maintaining overall consistency within established guidelines and best practices.

· Create both digital and print marketing materials: web banners, email blasts, social media assets, posters, brochures, catalogs, flyers, signage, etc. as needed.

· Ensure visual consistency and branding across various touch points (website, email campaigns, web content, social media, web banners, etc.)

· Create custom landing pages as needed for company website and eRetailers

· Proof work for accuracy and compliance to brand/company standards

· Develop new and unique ideas. This will involve working closely with our Marketing and Digital teams to identify requirements.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Design

· 2 to 3 years of experience specifically in digital design (beauty/fashion/luxury industry preferred).

· Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

· Proficiency in HTML and web coding, CSS, browsers and platforms a plus.

· MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience with online media, social networks and digital trends.

· Working knowledge of animated .gif creation.

· Knowledge of eCommerce channel asset best practices (e.g. general design rules for email creation, landing page layouts, banner sizing, etc.).
