Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop, design, and enhance learning materials to support various training programs. You will work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into engaging and effective learning content that aligns with instructional goals and learner needs.
Responsibilities:
• Course Design & Development:
o Design and develop instructional materials, e-learning modules, presentations, assessments, and other training resources.
o Create engaging and interactive learning experiences using various instructional design principles and multimedia tools.
o Structure content to ensure clarity and effectiveness, considering learner levels and educational objectives.
• Content Analysis & Storyboarding:
o Analyze training needs by collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
o Develop detailed storyboards, scripts, and outlines to guide content development.
o Research and validate content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
• E-Learning & Multimedia Integration:
o Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate) to create digital learning experiences.
o Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video, and animations to enhance learner engagement.
o Test, troubleshoot, and ensure the quality and accessibility of e-learning modules across devices.
• Evaluation & Improvement:
o Develop assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure learner comprehension and course effectiveness.
o Collect feedback from learners and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments.
o Monitor and analyze learning outcomes and suggest data-driven improvements to course design.
• Project Management:
o Manage multiple instructional design projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
o Communicate effectively with team members, SMEs, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and expectations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft365 and AI tools like Co-Pilot.
• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, e-learning developer, or similar role.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
• Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and learner-centered content.
• Minimum of 1 year in courseware design. Candidates without DACE or DDDLP certification must have at least 2 years of experience in designing courseware for WSQ and other courses, including LG, TG, LP, Assessment Plans, PowerPoint, and Worksheets.
