Responsibilities:

Pre-Requisites :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages (Python, Ruby, Node.js).
• Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and application servers.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Job Responsibilities:

· Work as an integral part of a small dynamic team to contribute in developing and maintaining quality medical information for healthcare professionals through various clinical decision support modules.

· Research, analyse and evaluate international literature and clinical guidelines for content enrichment in various publications worldwide.

· Work within established editorial systems and quality control procedures to edit, summarise and proofread medical/pharmaceutical data accurately and safely.

· Perform mapping and review of proprietary data sets to standard terminologies such as SNOMED CT.

· Assist and liaise with other teams to finalise electronic medical information products for deployment into different markets globally.

· Train other editorial team and/or trainee when required.

Undertake various editorial projects to continuously improve database content and/or Healthcare Clinical Decision Support products.

Requirements:

• Must be medical or pharmacy graduates
• Preferably two-three years of clinical practice in a hospital or equivalent practice setting
• Critical thinking with ability to interpret clinical papers
• A pair of keen eyes for attention to detail
• Systematic and well-organised
• Motivated and eager to learn
• Able to work independently with guidance
• Must have good command of English, both written and spoken

• Responsible for full editorial process from commissioning, manuscript submission to publication
• Perform desk editing and project management for books and journals
• Maintain positive collaborative relationship with all stakeholders
• Provide secretarial support to Chairman
• Handle all Chinese correspondences (emails, phone calls) for Chairman
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, events relating to Chinese Associations and Societies, including setting venues where necessary
• Provide Chinese to English translation and vice versa when required
• Any ad hoc duties when required by the Management.

Requirements

• Good university degree preferably in Chinese studies or in any field.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous, self-initiative, able to handle multiple priorities.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a dynamic, international environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have initiative, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Prior experience in publishing will be given preference
