Job Description

As a Video Editor Intern, you will be instrumental in the creation and editing of video content, teasers, and thumbnails while assisting in production shoots. This role offers hands-on experience in video production, content creation, and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production:

- Assist in pre-production tasks such as preparing for shoots, setting up equipment, and creating shot lists.

- Operate camera, lighting, and sound equipment during production shoots.

- Support the team on set to ensure a smooth production process.

Video Editing:

- Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, promotional materials, and long-form projects.

- Create engaging teasers, thumbnails, and graphics for videos.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure that videos align with brand and project objectives.

Content Creation:

- Occasionally conceptualize and create original, copyright-compliant content for social media.

- Repurpose video assets into short clips or reels for different platforms.

Administrative Support:

- Maintain an organized library of video assets, ensuring efficient retrieval.

- Assist in coordinating schedules and logistics for shoots.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.

- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).

- Familiarity with social media platforms and the types of video content they require.

- Basic skills in graphic design tools like Photoshop or Canva for creating thumbnails.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative environment.

- Highly organized, with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.

- Previous experience in video production or editing is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new Chinese book titles
• Responsible for full editorial process from commissioning, manuscript submission to publication
• Perform desk editing and project management for books and journals
• Maintain positive collaborative relationship with all stakeholders
• Provide secretarial support to Chairman
• Handle all Chinese correspondences (emails, phone calls) for Chairman
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, events relating to Chinese Associations and Societies, including setting venues where necessary
• Provide Chinese to English translation and vice versa when required

Requirements

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Information Technology Division, System Technology department and will be responsible for managing Content Delivery Network (CDN) which includes Cyber Security, as well as administering Monitoring and Log Management Tools.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with CDN providers and application teams to ensure internet websites/mobile apps are healthy in terms of availability, response time and security posture.

• Conduct regular security reviews and finetune WAF and BOT rules to mitigate any cyber threats.

• Administer various monitoring and logging tools, which includes application onboarding and advanced configuration.

• Perform system administration activities such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions during and after an incident.

• Support audit and infrastructure/network security scans, disaster recovery and security related drills and operate within assigned fiscal budget.

• Build automation wherever possible to improve development team’s agility and reduce human errors.

• Explore, learn and deploy new technologies and provide training to the IT community within the company.

• This position requires periodic system administration outside normal business hours.

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.

• Minimum of 3 years of IT Infrastructure experience with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in managing the infrastructure of an eCommerce website.

• Experience with Akamai or equivalent CDN providers preferred.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge in infrastructure areas such as Content Delivery Network (CDN), Cyber Security (WAF and Bot Mitigation), internet protocols, DNS, virtual server technologies, networking (LAN, WAN, SDN), Integration and Messaging Platform, scripting and monitoring tools.

• Administrator experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace and Log Management System (LMS) such as Splunk.

• Conversant with infrastructure definition tools such as Cloud Formation and Terraform, and with YAML/JSON deployment templates.

• Strong analytical, project management, communications and interpersonal skills.
