RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for the right person to supervise reporters covering Singapore issues. He/She will have a deep knowledge of Singapore issues and good contacts of experts in the relevant industries. The incumbent is able to direct reporters to bring out the most salient news points in a story. He/She is able to vet stories to ensure accuracy, objectivity and timeliness. Must be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities :

• Review and decide what news events to cover

Basic qualifications

• 7+ years of IT implementation experience with 1+ years in a leadership/technical lead role
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with cloud based solutions (AWS or equivalent)
• Proven customer relationship management and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications

• Leadership & Growth: Experience in developing teams through recruiting, training, mentoring, with proven track record delivering consulting projects

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

As a Sr. Technical Account Manager you will provide consultative architectural and operational guidance delivered to help customers achieve the greatest value from AWS.

As we continue to rapidly expand in Singapore, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop your technical, consulting and leadership skills. You’ll work with talented cloud technologists whilst expanding your knowledge of AWS products. You’ll also have the chance to receive mentorship and gain AWS certifications.

Key job responsibilities
• You’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
• Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
• Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
• Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
• With a bias for action, you'll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed prelaunch planning
• Being part of a wider Enterprise Support team you’ll provide post-sales, consultative expertise
• Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
• Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.

As a trusted advisor you’ll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services.

The Transformation Program Lead plays a crucial role in driving strategic change and ensuring successful program execution. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver tangible business value through the implementation of transformation initiatives.

The individual will:

• Spearhead large-scale strategic change initiatives and transformation programs
• Drive efforts to boost operational efficiency, elevate customer experience, and propel business growth
• Collaborate with executive team to align program objectives with company vision and priorities
• Develop comprehensive program plans outlining timelines, resources, risk mitigation, and communication
• Ensure initiatives align with organizational needs, regulations, and market dynamics

• Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plans.
