Key Responsibilities

Website Design Improvement

• Update the website's theme to improve its overall look, feel, and usability.

Member Directory Revamp

• Redesign and improve the member directory section of the website.

• Enable all captured data to sync seamlessly with Salesforce.

Salesforce Integration

Handover and Training

• Train our regular webmaster to manage the updated website and its integrations.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor (Contract/Part-time) to be involved in our post-production on a remote basis. This role involves working on diverse video editing projects, ranging from mid-scale film productions to smaller phone-based content creation.

Job Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in video editing / videography
• Personnel without relevant qualifications are welcomed! Use your skills, your knowledge, and your work to do the talking!
• Have experience in editing dialogue / presentation videos
• Experience in automotive, event, and wedding video editing is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Video Editing Software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Intermediate proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects
• Strong understanding of filmmaking
• Have the ability to craft compelling stories through video editing
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, and content trends.
• Passionate about videography and filmmaking
• Service-oriented with a creative eye for detail
• Driven, responsible, and a team player with good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional video editing to the raw video files in accordance to guidelines provided for each project / assignment.
• Video editing duties include: compliance with requirements, reviewing and selecting raw content, assembling, sequencing, and cutting video footages, colour correction and grading, adding transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, subtitles and captions, sound editing (syncing and refining audio, adding of music and sound effects), rendering and exporting final videos.
• Work closely with Project Leader and/or Videographer, and other stakeholders (such as clients) to achieve project outcomes.
• Make revisions to the first draft edited video according to review pointers.
• Accept feedback and make improvements for future projects.
• Represent our company with professionalism and maintain the highest standards of conduct

The Role: English Editor

We are looking for meticulous and dedicated individuals with a strong grasp of the English language and the nuances of academic writing to support scholars publishing their research. English Editors support academic research by editing the language of peer-reviewed papers to a publication-ready standard.

This is a full-time, in-office, entry-level position based in Singapore. Successful applicants undergo a probation period in which in-house training is provided by an experienced editor, after which there are opportunities to diversify the role and gain expertise in new areas.

Responsibilities

· Edit scholarly articles submitted to MDPI journals to a publication-ready standard.

· Apply knowledge of the English language and the context of the manuscript to make the English clear, consistent, and grammatically correct, communicating the author’s message without changing their voice unnecessarily.

· Ensure manuscripts align with MDPI’s house rules.

· Meet tight deadlines and hit targets with a high degree of consistency.

· Take on additional roles, such as training colleagues within and outside of the department and editing corporate material.

· Collaborate with members of Editorial and Production teams.

Experience and Skills

Essential criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• Expert knowledge of the English language.
• Experience in editing, translating, or publishing.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Professional experience in academic research, editing, or publishing.

Job Scope: Web Developer

Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications, focusing on both frontend and backend development as required.

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints. Define features and contribute to the overall product vision.

Ensure the website is optimized for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across various devices and browsers. Implement techniques to improve page load times, SEO, and overall user experience.

Continuously explore new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to enhance the quality and performance of web applications.

Develop high-quality, maintainable code following best practices, design patterns, and coding standards. Ensure code is easily scalable and adaptable for future enhancements.

Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or issues that arise in the web application, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

Review code written by other team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that coding standards are maintained across the team.

Take full responsibility for the development, testing, and deployment of assigned tasks and features. Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of web applications.

• Skills Required: Expertise in frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and backend development frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby). Familiarity with full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Django is a plus.
