Your role:

• Assist the FX COO team in run and change the bank activities
• Be a product SME business manager in the FX COO team globally

Partner with business heads, COOs, and logistics and control functions to:

• Ensure the FX & STIR business runs smoothly in the time zone and globally
• Execute and organize key business initiatives, particularly to further digitize the FX business
• Act as sparring partner (who challenges, thinks strategically, and has commercial acumen) to help enable financial outcomes
• Implement, fine tune and execute the front office control framework
• Partner with team members and other COO teams, both locally and globally, to manage implementation of key projects and initiatives including business driven changes, and regulatory, audit and risk remediation activities
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks, adhering to regulatory and operational risk standards
• Coordinate and oversee supporting F2B functions day-to-day and via business related governance forums, managing relationships with Technology, Operations / Middle Office, Compliance, Risk, Finance & Controlling, and others
• Monitoring and analysis of financial performance

Your team:

You will be working in the global FX COO team and will report to the Global FX COO. The FX COO team is a global team with business managers based in Singapore, Zurich, London, and New York. We operate globally aligned to the follow-the-sun operating model of the FX & STIR business, within Derivatives & Solutions in Global Markets, which trades a wide range of FX and STIR products across G11, Emerging Markets and Precious Metal currencies. We also support electronic FX desks such as eFX and the Central Risk Book in Derivatives & Solutions as well as FX Prime Brokerage organizationally in Financing within Global Markets. Our team focuses on ensuring that the business operates effectively and efficiently to manage risks, and is enabled to maximize profits while being compliant with regulations, policies and procedures.

Your expertise:

• Background or direct experience in the FX markets
• Knowledge of FX and STIR products, front to back processes, and dependencies in a large trading business including electronic trading
• Ability to communicate and work with stakeholders and team members across all areas of the bank and of various levels of seniority
• Good at building networks of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions
• Ability to understand new issues and processes quickly and determine priorities and solutions based on business need and benefit
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills; proficiency in excel, power point
• Comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Strong focus, drive and commitment, and track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard (a commercial ‘can-do’ approach)
• Able to remain calm under pressure and cope with difficult and changing scenarios i.e. be flexible
• Some leadership / management experience of junior team members

Responsibilities

• Perform white box testing, grey box and black box testing
• Perform static code analysis and facilitate code review among developers to identify inconsistencies in coding practices.
• Write Unit tests in C++ using Google Test
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders for the timely resolution of issues
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing process and management
• Enforce coding best practices and communicate recommendations to non-compliance developers.
• Follow through on implementation of QA processes and plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Software quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong working knowledge of C/C++ programming language.
• Prior experience with writing and executing unit tests will be an advantage.
• Familiar with static code analysis tools like SonarQube/SonarCloud.
• Hands-on experience with white box, grey box and black box testing techniques
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Google Test, code coverage tools like Gcov/Gcovr.
• Experience with issue tracking tools, i.e. JIRA and test management tools.
• Familiar with Ubuntu and Windows
• Experience in working with BitBucket, Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge of Git commands will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects focused on remittance operations applications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in remittance operations applications.
• Proven record of successfully delivering multi-country projects.
• Strong understanding of remittance operations and related financial services.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

• Must have experienced working with Remittance & Money Transfer Software: Manages the transfer of funds, often across international borders, between companies, and between companies and their customers. It simplifies sending and receiving money by providing effective, user-friendly, and safe platforms for both senders and receivers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for automated computer vision systems.
• Develop software for GUI, big data management, and multi-threaded programming.
• Create and refine image processing and computer vision algorithms.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

• PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in C++ is required.
• Strong expertise in vision inspection, computer vision, and image processing is essential.
• Experience with programming in the Visual Studio Development Environment.
• Familiarity with C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of Deep Learning (AI) for defect classification is an advantage.

About the Role

About You
