The primary role of the Mechanical Inspector will be to ensure Mechanical systems and equipment are installed correctly. Job Responsibilities

1) Operations

• Manage and maintain residential/commercial property sites as assigned.
• Conduct regular checks and inspection on grounds to ensure property is well maintained.
• Ensure building statutory requirements are complied.
• Review and recommend replacement/improvement plans for managed sites.
• Provide essential customer service support to the residents and owners.
• Identifies relevant tender notices and liaise with internal divisions, oversee the entire tender process. (e.g. attending site briefing, costing provisions, quality proposal, tender submission/interview)
• Approve and adhere to budgets and expenditures.
• Maintain good relations with client, staff, contractors and visitors to the site.

2) Managing Employee Development

• Conduct orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
• Ensures employees are cross-trained to support successful daily operations.
• Uses all available on the job training tools for employees; supervise on-going training, initiatives and conducts training, when appropriate.
• Manage all staff through Scorecard Process with clear defined goals.
• Shape culture of Abacus Property and constantly repeating our core values.

3) Maintaining Employee Relations

• Reviews progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency and checks for supportive documentation and is accountable for determining appropriate action.
• Utilizes an "open door" policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensures employee issues are referred to the Department Head for resolution
• Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.

4) Managing Legal and Compliance Practices

• Ensures compliance with procedure for accessing, reviewing, and auditing employee files and ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act. (PDPA)
• Ensures medical records are maintained in a separate, secure and confidential medical file.
• Ensures all safety and security policies (e.g., work safety, lost and found items, accident reporting, and hygiene) are communicated to employees on a regular basis through orientation, company meetings, etc.
• Conducts periodic claims reviews with the Finance Department to ensure claims are closed in a timely manner and reserve levels are appropriate for open claims.

Jewellery Design

The Role:

We are looking for an in-house jewellery designer. You will be working directly with the customers and to create bespoke designs. This role is multi-faceted and you would be also operating as a sales executive when clients are in the boutique. When you are with clients, you are expected to provide them with product knowledge and effectively sell both the brand and product. You will be required to share brand history, product knowledge and the highest level of customer service with all potential customers. As a designer, you need to be able to discuss a range of design options and formulate creative original ideas. You would be required to sketch out ideas and designs, sometime using computer-aided design (CAD), to help the client visualize the final design.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Life Cycle

• Support recruiting and employment of positions in NEA and SEA by supporting managers through the employment requisition process and providing support throughout the employment process.
• Conduct new employee orientation and on-boarding processes.
• Facilitate employee exit and clearance procedures.
• Process workflows in HRIS in relation to employee movements and on/offboarding.

Benefits & Welfare Administration

• Assist employees with record changes and company policies by accessing policy information when requested to keep employees accurately informed.
• Administer group life insurance, health and accident insurance, saving and retirement plans, and establishes and maintains working relationships with company staff and benefit providers.
• Administer compensation, benefit programs, employee activity programs for employees to insure consistency and reliability of these programs.

Job Summary: As the main contractor’s Safety Officer, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant construction site.
