Responsibilities :

• Manage all fixed assets related work such as additions, transfer, retirement and disposal of fixed assets
• Perform journal entries for capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets
• Review fixed asset costs and perform necessary reclassifications
• Prepare fixed asset identifications and perform asset sightings
• Conduct stock-take
• Continuously help to review fixed assets policy and setting up internal controls to achieve financial objectives
• Assist in SAP configuration for work flows relating to fixed assets
• Assist in preparation of monthly fixed asset schedules and management reports, statutory reports and presentation slides for internal users, shareholders, government agencies etc.
• Prepare variance analysis for actual capital expenditure against budget
• Provide support for budgeting, forecasting and business planning exercise
• Review costings for all types of projects
• Ensure matching of revenue & cost for chargeable projects
• Perform NRV adjustments at year end
• Assist in updating of policy
• Evaluate and streamline project processes
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on area of responsibilities
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager/ Director

Requirements :

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy with minimum 2 years’ experience preferably in fixed assets management
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, persistent to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciliations in timely manner
• Knowledge in SAP B1 and proficient in MS Excel preferred
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, yet a team-oriented player in delivering results and meeting business needs in a fast paced environment
