General Overview

The position is part of the site Instrument, control and electrical (ICE) team that provides maintenance and technical support to the Operations and Project teams in the LNG Terminal. The incumbent is responsible for establishing, reviewing and overseeing the integrity of the on-stream continuous analyzers and quality management in the Terminal.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:

• Maintenance of process on-stream and laboratory analyzers
• Work on continuous improvement projects to resolve any issues related to correct functioning of process stream analyzers
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for all process stream analyzers, sampling and laboratory equipment
• Manage and oversee the laboratory operations with laboratory service provider
• Upkeep laboratory related documents such as safety, quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP) and laboratory logbooks delivered by vendor
• Addressing customers’ queries related to measurement and quality management

Work Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance of various process analyzers such as Gas Chromatography, Wobbe index analyser, HydroCarbon Dewpoint analyzer, THT analyzer, Auto-sampler etc.
• Previous experience in design, installation, commissioning, maintenance of instrumentation and analyzer systems in oil and gas/petrochemical industry/Analyzer vendor is required
• Knowledge in ISO17025 - general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

Education & Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably in Chemical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.

The EOS/ASE Coastal Laboratory at NTU is searching for a Research Associate to work under the supervision of Prof Adam Switzer on extreme sea level analysis (ExSL). The successful candidate will analyse an integrated data set and conduct numerical modelling to estimate ExSL events in Singapore. Further to this, they will work on a review of current floating GNSS systems and current measurement techniques. They will also investigate best practices for communicating ExSL potential future impacts in Singapore. The successful candidate will have a Masters’ degree in Earth Science, natural hazards, remote sensing, geodesy, computer science, data science, or a related subject. • Analyze and interpret extreme sea level (ExSL) data from regional tide gauge networks.

• Working with regional marketing managers and sales consultants to support the creation of a demand gen strategy that meets regional targets

Assistant Professor (tenure track) Positions in Ecology

The Asian School of the Environment (ASE, https://www.ntu.edu.sg/ase) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore seeks to appoint several Assistant Professors (tenure track) in tropical ecology.
