Job Description

i) To work with the PM to comply with environmental, health & safety (EHS) laws laws, advise PM on environmental remediation measures, carry out site inspections and to engage workers and stakeholders on maintaining good environmental health standards

ii) Work with the PM to draw up, implement and monitor effective environmental management plans, including reviewing them when necessary:

· Prepare & submit to the PM the Site Environmental Control Programme before work commences at the worksite.

· Prepare & submit to the PM the Site Environmental Control Report once every two weeks.

iii) Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities, equipment and operations do not pose any environmental health hazard;

viii) Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities, where required, to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards.

ix) Conduct inspection of the ECM at the worksite in accordance to ECM plan

x) Maintain records of all inspections.

xi) Advice the PM & project team members on the implementation of the EHSMS & implement the EHSMS.

xii) Assist the PM identify any unsafe work condition or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite;

xiii) Recommend to the PM to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe work condition or unsafe work practice;

xiv) Assist the PM implement such reasonably practicable measures referred to in (xiii) or safe work procedures.

xv) Advice the PM & the project team members on the implementation of the EHSMS.

xvi) Implement the EHSMS.

xvii) Stop the work or recommend to the PM / WSHO to stop the work if it is deem not safe for the work to continue.

xviii) Inform the higher level of management (e.g. Project Director) if conflict between EHS issues & operational considerations at the worksite cannot be effectively resolved.

xix) Report to PM

• Work closely with management and Japan HQ on regional (Asia/Oceania/Middle east/India/Africa area) business agenda, including regular reporting and execution of regional sales and business planning related matters.
• Support strategy setting for region following Japan HQ direction with managements.
• Translate Japan Headquarter directions and strategy to English contents for Asia Region subsidiaries.
• Lead and supervise team members in Planning Department in the execution of sales and business planning strategies as well as sales and marketing activities for Asia region to achieve targets set by company.
• Monitor and provide logical analysis for sales and expense, profitability by subsidiaries and by product.
• Monitor and analyze market situation and competitor environment.
• Understand the background and purpose of each assignment and responsible for actual reporting in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Analysis for Budget/Actual difference and proposal of counter measure.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progression reports/meetings to update to Headquarter in Japan.
• Constantly communicate with subsidiaries to build strong relationships among Asia/Oceania/Middle east/India/Africa area.
• Support planning jobs for overseas subsidiaries.
• Monitor stock movement to ensure optimum inventory level and minimize unnecessary stock.
• Commit on the company and team’s goals.
• Support other members and contribute to the team’s smooth operation and improved organization.
• Enhance and improve the team’s compliance structure.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with strong grounding in Data, Business Management, or Mathematics
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Imaging industry
• Fluent language to communicate with Japan HQ and all business department across.
• Having knowledge of SAP functionalities
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and proficient with MS PowerPoint
• Highly organized with the ability to plan, co-ordinate & manage multiple priorities
• Eyes for details and timely in meeting deadlines
• Independent, meticulous and a fast learner with positive working attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical thinking and ability to offer concrete alternatives to the team from wide point of view
• Readiness for frequent overseas business trip
