Job Purpose

The Head of Trade is responsible for the overall volume development and GP of the trade covering Asia Pacific to Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Africa. The individual drives and defines the trade strategy across the globe aligned with regions and countries.

The head is responsible for setting and executing the global carrier strategy inside the trade by personally managing and developing the relationships with our core carriers, and regional niche carriers (where needed) in the trade.

Furthermore, the role is part of the regional trade management team responsible for aligning and setting a clear direction for the FCL product development and growth in collaboration with the growth and M&S organization.

Key Tasks

1. Strategy and P&L Management

· Responsible for FCL P&L on the trade down to GP level.

· Centrally provides fundamental base (price, space, cooperation) for any FCL businesses on the trade.

· Monitoring core carrier adherence performance weekly and monthly by utilizing various available tools to achieve target with carriers based on latest estimate.

3. Lead, guide, strengthen and grow the global allocation and yield management team and create next level leaders.

4. Allocation and Yield Management

· Responsible (together with his team) for allocation management, which includes

§ setting up (weekly) allocations with all (core) carriers

§ maintaining agreed allocations in existing and future systems

§ managing supply (allocations) and demand (customer forecasted volumes and actual shipments/bookings)

§ ensuring that agreed processes (related to allocation management) are followed by countries

· Responsible for setting so-called “volume steering guidelines” which can vary per country

· Monitors actual volumes booked and shipped and takes corrective actions (= initiates carrier shifting) in order

§ to utilize available space

§ to fulfill carrier targets and contract MQCs

§ to optimize and maximize GP on customer, shipment, trade lane level

5. Volume and Pricing

· Responsible for the Port-to-Port pricing.

· Work with Growth Team to achieve joint approach for the organization across the network for SME growth and Large RFQs.

· Utilizing own market knowledge to obtain more details to win/ retain customers.

· Provide CSI and DGF BC/MNC/IBDM (Region and Country) guidance & consulting on OFR buying conditions (rates, space, equipment availability, free time etc.).

· Steer Focus Trade lanes in close cooperation with RDM (Route Development Manager) team and overseas TM.

· Assist in customer business implementation by enabling carrier’s cooperation and understanding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Worker is responsible for facilitating change and improving lives for individuals, families, community facing transitional challenges through the provision of casework and counselling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, conducting psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and goals for intervention
• Provide case work and counselling to persons with mental health conditions, dementia and their caregivers
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes and group work
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services
• Participate in research

• Possess Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage

Job Description:

• To manage and negotiate pricing, commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers and recommend the most competitive suppliers and subcon.
• With experience in Import-export related transactions affairs.
• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Review specifications and ensure materials ordered meet proper quality standard and comply to contract specifications.
• Maintain and update list of approved suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development。
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description：

· Monitor consultant's design progress as per submission/ detail design schedule agreed. Study consultants' design drawings and highlight the missing information, design clashes and design inconveniences for construction.

· Manage the project's design coordination works. Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors to ensure the smooth progress of the coordination. Ensure the information between different disciplines are communicated and discussed among the team.

· Manage the project’s drawing coordination in between disciplines and sub-contractors’ drawings.

· Manage the project’s drawing schedule, to ensure timely issuance of drawings for construction.

· Work with BIM modeller/drafter on shop drawings preparation, to capture all detail dimensions and settings. Must be able to convey technical information to BIM modeller/ drafter via sketches. Must be able to study and understand technical drawings independently without the drafter's assistance. Must be able to identify the critical technical information/sections that need to be generated for construction usage and technical resolution.

· Work with the construction team and sub-cons to prepare and submit for approval the construct

i) material submission.

ii) material specification submission.

iii) method statement.

iv) specialist trade sub-con shop drawings.

· Address and resolve technical issues raised by the construction and consultant's teams, through clear communication and good documentation.

Qualifications:

·Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural discipline

· At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Experience in residential project will be advantageous.
