Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data needs. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
3. Optimize and tune data pipelines and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
4. Implement data governance processes and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
5. Design and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures to store and organize data for analytics and reporting purposes.
6. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our data infrastructure and capabilities.
7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the data engineering team.
8. Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deploy and manage data solutions in cloud-based environments.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, systems, and processes.
10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve our data ecosystem.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. X+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
4. Strong experience with distributed data storage and processing technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache HBase, or similar.
5. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with related services such as AWS EMR, S3, Glue, or Azure Data Factory.
6. Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) as well as NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
7. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and proficiency in designing efficient data schemas.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA is a plus.

(Form2) Handling the notification to P&I for the Marine SIs embarking &
disembarking of non-ship personnel as per established procedures.

6. Phone Test-Conduct iridium test and update SASS test & SAT C test, send

8. Master's Review and Monthly Minutes for Vessels: SQR001, HSEQ, Drill, OJT, BBS Report (ShipNet)

In addition to your teaching duties, you will have to develop curriculum and create assessments. Carry out consultancy and industry projects to help you remain relevant in the evolving industry. You will need to connect and maintain industry partnership links to provide opportunity for student industry internship and staff attachment. Teaching staff are also required to perform student development and guidance.

You should be proficient in the related disciplines and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the video production industry with the following attributes:

•       Have carried out various short-form and long-form video content production, such as Corporate & Training video, Marketing video, Multi-Camera production, Event video, Social Media & Multimedia content, etc.

•       Have experience in coordinating and managing many aspects of a video production process from start to finish in the following areas: concept pitch; story development; script breakdown; setting a budget; organizing logistics; carrying out the technical production; managing deadlines and communicating with the team each step of the way.

•       Competent in the operation of current digital camera and production lighting equipment.

•       Studio Production knowledge is an advantage
