Ischaemic stroke and cardiovascular diseases, focused on biomarker discovery and validation using preclinical vascular and animal models. This work leverages on a well-phenotyped repository of samples from stroke patients who have been meticulously characterized by whole-exome sequencing, RNA-seq and proteomics and outcomes collected in patients who were followed for more than 10 years.

Qualifications

1. Have a good PhD degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry or bioengineering from a well-recognized university.
