Job Description

As a School Laboratory Technician, the personnel will help facilitate the delivery of Science curriculum by supporting teachers in their lessons and assisting in the smooth running of the Science laboratories in our school. This includes preparing, setting up and clearing up of experimental set-ups and materials at the end of the lessons. The personnel will also be assisting in other science related duties.

• Manage two laboratories and ensure that the equipment, tools and other materials are adequately stocked and kept in working condition.

• Carry out termly stock take

• Liaise with teachers to prepare, set up and clear up the experiments and practical demonstrations

• Assist in preparing resources for other Science related matters e.g. Science competition and eco-guardian activities

• Assist in germinating the seeds for the school’s hydroponics system

• Watering of plants on the racks near the Science laboratory

• Feeding of fish at the eco-pond and at the greenhouse at level 4

This role will report to the Group Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for group monthly closing processes, group consolidation, financial reporting, variance analysis, annual audit and tax compliance

· Prepare materials for Board meetings and SGX/HQ results announcements

· Group budgeting and forecast processes

· Oversee and coordinate the preparation of Group’s annual report

· Provide guidance to local and overseas subsidiaries on accounting and financial reporting matters

· Review audit findings and ensure that all matters are addressed or resolved promptly

· Liaise with external/internal auditors and external service providers

Requirements

· Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy

Job Description

• A passionate community organiser who is keen to work with the community and various stakeholders to develop a sound understanding of the assigned portfolio of partners in the public and private sectors and implement engagement strategies with these partners.
• Manage strategic initiatives by identifying current or new partners who are able to support key My Community's programmes targeting the general population, and also for the niche segments
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including volunteers and cultural practitioners to scope, develop and/or align partnership initiatives by bridging partner and My Community's interest to reach mutually beneficial collaborative agreement
• Conceptualise, manage and execute effective marketing, branding and partnership strategies for My Community's initiatives.
• Acquire, maintain and elevate relationships with the community, new and existing partners, and various stakeholders for My Community's campaigns, festivals and programmes
• Explore, strategise, identify and pitch new business plans to acquire new business and partnership opportunities
• Create, present and execute marketing campaign opportunities and performance.
• Track campaign performances with measurable methods of each campaign (both online and offline)

Requirements

• Keen interest in interacting with the community (residents, shopkeepers, students, diverse stakeholders and partners) on arts, culture and heritage.
• Communicative, accountable, responsible and take initiative to interact with community stakeholders.
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Accountancy, Heritage Studies/Management, Cultural Management and/or Architecture
• At least 3 years' of work experience in the philantrophy sector
• Familiar with CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce)
• Prior experience in partnerships management
• Ability to speak and write in English and one of the national languages (Chinese, Malay or Tamil) fluently.
• Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

About the role

• Provide level 2 network support and troubleshooting for the region

• Support (LAN/WAN/WIFI), Routers,Firewalls, Web Access Security Gateways, servers, security controls
• Work on projects regarding SD-WAN and HPE Aruba devices
• Administer security tools like Firewalls, zScaler Internet Access, HPE Aruba Clearpass, NAC and VPN connections
• Maintain and operate network equipment in server rooms

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role
