Position Summary

The Youth Worker will play a crucial role in implementing Resilient Minds programs within secondary schools, working closely with at-risk students to provide guidance, support, and a positive, trusting environment. This role involves direct engagement with students, facilitating group activities, providing one-on-one mentorship, and collaborating with school staff to support each student's emotional, social, and academic growth.

Youths at risk usually struggle with the following:

• Irregular attendance and showing signs of school refusal.
• Social-emotional and behavioural issues.
• Relationship issues with teachers and/or parents.
• Anger issues.
• Self-esteems issues.
• Weak social and family support

Key Responsibilities

• Build Trusting Relationships
• Establish a foundation of trust with students, creating a safe space for open communication and connection.
  Actively engage with students to foster mutual respect, empathy, and a sense of security.
• Support Emotional and Mental Well-being
• Provide mental health and emotional support resources, helping students navigate challenges and build resilience.
  Offer guidance on managing stress, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.
• Empower Student Growth and Self-Efficacy
• Encourage students to set and achieve personal and academic goals, fostering independence and confidence.
  Guide students in developing decision-making and critical thinking skills for personal growth.
• Skill-Building and Personal Development
• Lead workshops or sessions on essential life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and practical daily skills.
  Provide resources and tools to prepare students for life beyond secondary school.
• Promote Community and Belonging
• Facilitate group activities, events, and programs that build social connections and a sense of belonging among students.
  Work alongside school staff to create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all students.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience working with at-risk youth, ideally in a secondary school setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students.
• Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment that encourages student growth.
• Knowledge of mental health practices, resilience-building strategies, and trauma-informed care.
• Problem-solving and adaptability skills to meet the unique needs of each student and school environment.

Working Hours

• Based on the school you're attached to, the needs and timing varies
• Tuesdays to Fridays only
• 10am - 5:00pm
• Secondary school in Hougang
• Contract is one year

• Perform patient assessment and provide appropriate medical interventions
• Assist doctor and carry out treatment and nursing procedures for patients
• Provide quality nursing care to ensure the smooth operations of clinic
• Perform basic and complex nursing procedures and treatment

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in Radiology department
• Minimum Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Experience in Interventional Procedure
• 5.5 Days

Job Duties:

• First Touch to receive and welcome customers.
• Digital Advocate to educate customers to bank digitally.
• Drives Service Excellence focusing on customer satisfaction- customer wait time, problem resolution, customer feedback and error rates.
• Provides one-stop banking experience in relation to non-cash related banking services -account opening/servicing request, application processing, digi-banking and cards related request etc.
• Collaborates with team members and working partners for problem resolution.

Job Requirements:

• Digitally Savvy
• Customer service experience or are customer facing would be preferred
• Experienced in Mass Banking/ Retail Banking would be preferred
