Duties and responsibilities:

8. Submission of monthly progress claim to clients and monitoring of variation works, avoid wide differential in claim and payment amounts. To finalize project accounts and variation claims early for client’s verification and payment.

9. To monitor the progress of work on site and recommend, if appropriate, the interim payment certification to supplier/subcontractors proposed by the designated Project Engineer.

10. To access, recommend and recruit suitable subcontractors and work force to provide quality engineering services to our clients.

11. To be readily involved in tender estimation, variation quotation and costing preparation and assist the project manager in the preparation of budgetary statement.

12. Responsible for all correspondences with the clients, authorities, main-contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, etc.

13. To be actively involved with quality management system of the company.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong business domain knowledge in retail banking
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives
• Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank/market.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in ICS and J-ESR field testing.

•Reporting of Japanese Solvency Margin Ratio.

•Reporting of J-ESR.

•Conduct stress testing and analysis on insurance portfolios.

•Drive business planning for insurance portfolios with focus on future sustainability of the portfolio from solvency, profitability and liquidity risk perspective.

•Regular valuation of the portfolio including assessment of reserves adequacy and preparation/submission of regulatory and internal solvency reports and statistics.

•Conduct experience analysis of the portfolio and set non-economic assumptions.

•Perform monthly analysis of profit/analysis of solvency movements of the portfolio and reforecast of profitability to track performance.

Requirements

Experience

•Minimum 5 years of actuarial experience in life and health valuation.

•Strong knowledge/experience of Singapore Risk Based Capital 2. Experience in ICS is an advantage.

•Having leadership experience is an advantage.

•Self-driven and able to motivate team members to deliver projects on a timely basis.

•Great teamwork and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Product and Distribution, regulators and group office.

Education

•Academic: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Actuarial Science.

•Professional Certification(s): Qualified Actuary (preferred)

About the job

• Engaging with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into technical (analytics) specification. Objective is to create feasible insights to business stakeholders to make informed decisions
• Working with business users (Sales, marketing, Finance/Accounting, Supply chain and etc) to develop reports and dashboards to increase revenue, improve and reduce manual procedures
• Gathering, managing and analysing data from multiple sources to provide insights to business through determining historical demand trends and forecast future demand requirements.
• Manage the global lifecycle of master data processes, including data creation, validation, and deactivation for ERP and CRM systems.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures for maintaining data in the respective databases.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems.
• Recommend or support process improvements and best practices in data management.
• Perform regular audits and quality assessments of databases.
• Address and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies within the systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data management processes and policies.
• Oversee data migration and standardization efforts within the organization.

Skills And Experience Required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 2 years of experience in data analytics/ Business intelligence ( Power BI). Exposure to SQL is required for this role. proven track record in engaging with business stakeholders is required for this role.
