Position Purpose

Financial Security Compliance Officer (Associate or AVP Grade) Singapore is part of Financial Security team responsible for the prevention of money laundering, the fight against terrorist financing, for economic sanctions compliance. Direct Responsibilities

• Keep updated on OFAC sanctions programs, UNSC, EU and local sanctions measures and applications.

As part of the team, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Surveyor to join our team! As a surveyor, you will be responsible for basic inspection to record all impact and other operational damages, as well as wear and tear. Thereby assesses whether a container is, or at reasonable cost could be, in a suitable condition to carry cargo.

Afterwards you know the most cost-effective next step for the container for instance loading with cargo, repair, redelivery to lessor or empty repositioning. Job Description

- Inspect empty container such as Reefer, Open-top and flatrack

- Ensure all inbound containers are properly inspect in accordance to IICL and criteria set by Shipping Line

- Identify appropriate repair and cleaning method after thorough inspection

- Prepare Repair/Cleaning estimate on Estimate Damage Sheet.

- Document check such as Delivery Order, EIR, Acceptance letter etc.

- Forward ‘estimate and damage sheet’ to the coordination department for further processing

- Segregate the container by shipping lines and/or the type of repair/cleaning required and instruct the forklift drivers to load/offload containers to the designated locations

Job Requirements

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with Business Unit to strive for anticipated sales growth targets as well as to breach new markets to ensure captive market share year on year. Develop effective strategies and plans to increase spare parts market share and revenue.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively handles all opportunities from leads to ensure timely fulfilment and profitability of business unit
• Conducts and provides accurate forecast and sales pipeline plans to management for planning
• Actively promotes Service Sales (Aftermarket products) to distributors in conjunction with spare parts sales
• Collaborates with the sales team to develop sales strategies to target new opportunities recognized within existing accounts

• Maintains accurate records of all projects, pricings, sales, and activity reports
• Creates and conducts proposal presentations for sales representatives, customers, and prospects
• Leads and participates in continuous improvement projects in cross-functional areas
• Performs any other parts sales and aftermarket duties as and when assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in spare parts or automotive industry
• This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and South East Asia Region (10-15%)
• Possess strong presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong customer service mind-set with keen enthusiasm for spare parts/power generation products
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent and results-oriented with strong business and commercial sense
• Prior spare parts experience with engines manufacturers will be advantageous
• Bilingual capability in English and Mandarin will be advantageous

WORKING HOURS / LOCATION

• 5-day work week
• 8.30am to 5.15pm
• Located in Jurong
