The Role

• Perform warehousing and logistics functions such as receiving, putting away of goods, picking, and marshaling
• Perform housekeeping tasks
• Conduct physical counts to ensure the accuracy
• Practice safe work procedures and identify potential hazard
• Handle stocks & equipment with care
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

About You

• Experienced in warehouse and logistics will be an advantage
• Familiar with warehouse management systems, such as Voice-Pick device
• Acquired a forklift license will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties for MEP Works including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
• Manage the MEP Works taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
• Leading and coaching junior staff in delivery of services, including checking on the works done by junior staff
• Collaborate and develop good relationship with clients and stakeholders internally and externally

• Comply with the Company’s QA requirements and best practice

About the position

This position reports to the Event Manager and interfaces event attendees and vendors, and will be required to manage roadshows and festivals that includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Running a live event independently and representing the agency and our clients in a professional manner
• Maintaining timelines effectively
• Preparing for WIP meetings and providing clear reports to clients and their stakeholders in a professional manner
• Liaising with venues to ensure all documentation is thoroughly prepared
• Preparing pre-event and post-event documentation, active management of set-up and tear-down of events

Position Summary

• Technical advisor on the construction technology of the equipment (Condenser system, Axially equipment of Gas turbine, Steam turbine) supplied by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) of the Keppel Sakra Cogen 600MW Advanced Gas Turbine Cogeneration Combined Cycle Plant.
• To give the technical instruction and direction for the progress, schedule and work quality of Commissioning Work for MHI scope of supply in a safe, efficient and professional manner.

• Provide technical advice on the construction for Advanced Gas Turbine Cogeneration Combined Cycle Plant.

Technical Reporting

• Provide a regular progress report to site mechanical manager and head office in Japan

• Coordination of site meetings

Job Requirement

• At least 5 years of experience in construction of Gas Turbine Combined Cycle power plant
• Advanced knowledge of equipment installation, piping work and electrical instrumentation work for Gas Turbine Combined Cycle power plant.
• Advanced knowledge of gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, heat recovery steam generator and auxiliary equipment.
• English fluency (Upper Intermediate or above) is required for this role
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge in using SolidWorks & AutoCad
• Work experience at construction sites.

Working under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manual machines.

May be required to read blueprints, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work. Skills typically acquired through 2-6 years related machining experience.
