· Apply FRS Accounting and reporting standards and the Singapore Standards on auditing.

Trainings

· Initial training will familiarise you with the workings, audit work papers, and overall audit.

· objectives and strategies. More in-depth training follows with participation in phases of an audit that will provide insight into plans and the details of executing further audit procedures and proper documentation. The program is designed to build up the intern’s understanding of the audit process, and as the internship progresses, he/she will be given increasingly complex tasks.

· After the completion of the internship and after participating in a number of audits interns should have a solid understanding of big picture of audits as well as the skills to perform common audit procedures. Additionally, the intern will gain experience in how a professional accounting firm operates and what is it like to work in a Chartered Accountant firm.

· Working Hours are from 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. The firm only works on a 5 days workweek. Participation in at least five audit engagements is expected and possibly more, depending on the intern’s ability to grasp and apply concepts and techniques.

· During the training program, we continually provide feedback on ways to better organize work, look for mistakes, and increase efficiency.

· Interns will get a chance to deal with Clients with the guidance from their assigned Supervisors.

Other Aspects

· Audit Interns/Audit season staff persons participate in fieldwork, staff meetings and training sessions, the same as the full-time employees.

You will be responsible for delivering assurance + advisory services in accordance with internal audit standards.

You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.

• To execute + lead financial, compliance + operational audit projects in compliance with internal standards + existing regulations.
• To evaluate effectiveness of control, risk management + governance processes.
• To perform effective audits, including review of transactions, documents, reports, policies + procedures for accuracy + effectiveness.
• To identify key risks areas + provide recommendations, leveraging on data analytics when necessary.
• To put together audit findings + finalize audit reports.
• To focus on development + continuous improvement in audit programs, adding value to the company operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Process accounts payable (AP) invoice.
2. Generate accounts receivable (AR) invoice in SAP.
3. Prepare payment voucher for AP payments.
4. Check GST and prepare GST quarterly submission.
5. Prepare monthly report (AP/AR sales and cost).
6. Internal control and process documentations.
7. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:-

1. Independent, meticulous and with positive attitude.
2. Accounting & Finance.
3. System knowledge such as Excel, Power BI, ERP system etc.
4. Able to commit 6 months (January to June 2024).

• Understand and assist to coordinate the entire sales processes for project based business (from pre-qualification till successful handover of the project to end customer)

• Actively involved in the operational aspect of sales processes including but not limited to coordinating pre-shipment and shipment matters, billing cycles and documentations

• Understand and apply the basic fundamentals of business administration in project based business.

• Coordinate and interact with a multi-cultural/disciplinary environment that requires communications across ASEAN countries

• Understand the fundamentals of market research in relation to its application to business product of the department

• Assist and Support in ppt preparation and costing computation.

• Assist with other ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements
