You will primarily be:

• Responsible for the deployment, and support of analytical solutions as part of an established APAC Analytics & BI team.
• Supporting our regional data operations team, project management, and platform experts to deploy 1st party data  solutions for our media & CRM teams across Asia-Pacific.
• Proactively and innovatively driving excellence in the delivery of data and analytics solutions for advertising and CRM.
• Supporting the regional data team in partnering with stakeholders to provide innovative data solutions at both regional and local market levels.

Opportunities & Exposure

• Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
• Manage end-to-end analyses; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyse data, interpret patterns and trends, build models, give recommendations, and create insightful automated reports.
• Automate and validate newly created reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality.
• Analyse existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
• Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
• Support ad-hoc data requests, APAC monthly reporting to markets.

• Developing audit programs, and reviewing systems of internal controls.
• Performing audit tests to determine compliance with prevailing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness in accomplishment of objectives and goals established for various organisational and functional activities within the Group.

Much of the matching in most cases requires us to design and develop customised activities or programs for a meaningful exchange or partnership between corporates and social organisations. This is to ensure a win-win for both parties towards sustainable and effective social impact.

In the bigger scheme of our social mission, we bridge the capacity gap in the social sector with other stakeholders such as government agencies, grantmakers and volunteers to provide social organisations access to affordable (or pro bono) and professional services that are critical to their daily operations.

Over the past years, we have impacted more than 700 social organisations and channelled 8,000 volunteers to contribute to the growth of the social sector. In 2019, we were selected as a finalist for the Social Enterprise of Year by of the President Challenge. This is the highest accolade for social enterprises in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Intern will be working together with our Client Service Managers and Executives to provide bookkeeping and finance services to our clients. The work requires a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn and ability to work in a team are essential qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bookkeeping and preparing month-end financial reports

• Assist with audit queries

• Assist with payroll preparation/cashier duties

• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records

• Support volunteers with accounting/client-related queries

• Be present at and assist with company events

• Applicants should have taken and passed the basic financial accounting module

• Applicants should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office applications

• Preferably, they should also have prior work experience in accounting. This can be from previous accounting related internships

• Excellent communication skills, and being an independent worker are all essential to this position.

The internship is for both full-time and part-time, available immediately. Preference is full-time for 6 months.

A part-time intern must commit to at least 3 full work days a week. The minimum internship period is 3 months.

The Intern is required to:

• Commit full-time or part-time (minimally 3 full work days on fixed days of the week) for a minimum period of 3 months. Preferable: 6 months.

• Possess keen interest in designing and implementing community programs, designing training and developmental programs, research and evaluation of social impact or general consulting/advisory work

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (esp. PowerPoint and Excel). A good understanding of other software to develop business presentations, photo and video edits, and statistical analysis would be considered favourably

• Be comfortable as an independent worker and to communicate with team members

Lyza Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching/Curriculum Development Intern to develop and teach coding/technology lessons during the Nov/Dec Winter period. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing students through effective teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lessons for students aged from 7 to 12
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Undergoing a degree programme in any discipline (preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics or science). Familiarity with programming languages would be preferred.
• Eager to learn and experiment with new ideas
• Possesses excellent communication skills and loves teaching children.
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills and good team player
• Knowledge of Python, Java and/or C/C++ is a plus.
