Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

The Marketing & Affiliate Intern will support the APAC Marketing team, working across the Family & News portfolio of channel brands including CNBC, DreamWorks, Sky News, and Studio Universal.

• Support the Marketing team with planning and execution of consumer and trade marketing campaigns across APAC, working closely with international teams in Asia, Australia, and the UK.
• Service key affiliates across APAC with monthly and weekly marketing deliverables including but not limited to programming highlights, cross promos, key arts and imagery, digital banners, reporting, etc.
• Create monthly programming highlights and liaise with translators to provide localised versions in various languages.

The Sales Strategy Intern will be supporting the APAC Sales Strategy team across Singapore and Sydney. This position will play an active role in analyzing market dynamics across Asia as well as contributing to the execution of commercial deals by providing analytical support (e.g. benchmarking, performance analysis).

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Monitor and conduct research on the competitive landscape and market trends, particularly in the new media and digital space.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of market intelligence and visualise data into key succinct points.
• Work closely with Sales teams to prepare drafts financials, benchmarks and performance analysis for commercial deals.
• Prepare overviews / business update presentations for Management.
• Work in cross-functional teams across various departments on other strategic initiatives.

The Distribution Intern supports the distribution team, in tasks which may include conducting business and competitor research, identifying content distribution opportunities across SEA territories, develop sales literatures, participating in meetings and assisting the distribution department wherever possible.

Your responsibilities may span across the following areas:

• Tailor made, compile and distribute presentations and sales literature across SEA territories including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Prepare targeted materials for different clients across the region.
• Coordinate with teams in Los Angeles, Amsterdam and London on Film/TV distribution projects.
• Event planning, sales trips coordination and support across the Asia territories
• Special projects as needed.

To facilitate and provide administrative and operational support on theatrical marketing of Universal Pictures films releases in South Asia region. The intern will get an insight into how Universal films are distributed and marketed, including adapting and localising Studio level strategies for South Asia audiences. The intern will also develop content creation skills, ideating engaging material for different markets and platforms, and facilitating creative reviews and asset servicing for our film releases. The intern will also have opportunities to collaborate and communicate with diverse teams in and outside of the organisation, as will be analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies. Additionally, the intern will stay abreast of industry trends and knowledge in film marketing.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Work closely with Regional Marketing team to support the proper execution of film releases in markets across the region.
• Liaise with Home Office and licensee partners on marketing-related matters, not limited to campaign planning, publicity, and promotional activities.
• Service marketing assets and materials to partners, local offices, and vendors
• Brief vendor and vet localisation work for pan-regional campaigns.
• Facilitate approvals of publicity and creative requests between local offices and Home Office.
• Consolidate campaign marketing reports during and after release.
• Support region’s merchandise needs including gathering & submission of orders, facilitating creative approvals, and managing delivery.
• Contribute insights and ideas in creative brainstorms for marketing strategies.

The Client Management team in Singapore manages regional APAC clients and works closely with the global teams from London and Los Angeles to strategically maximize the transactional video (TVOD) business, focusing on movies available via Pay Per View, Electronic Sell-Through & Video On-Demand platforms. We work closely with:

• Multi-territory platforms—such as Apple, Google, Amazon etc.
• In-territory (APAC) partners—such as Astro Malaysia, Korea Telecom, PCCW, etc.

To drive revenues for our movie products, your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Provide support for APAC Account Management team to grow the digital transactional movie business in the region.
• Pitch promotional activities to partners to generate incremental revenue.
• Strategize promotional pricing with partners.
• Implement promotional price points using third party systems.
• Monitor digital partners’ platforms to ensure movies are on-store with accurate information.
• Ensure the successful launch of digital movie boxsets.
• Analyse market trends such as pricing and release of new movies.
• Provide support for Marketing such as deck presentations and tracking marketing activities and social media.
