The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore is seeking a high caliber researcher in the area of biomedical optics and biophotonics to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

· A Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Biomedical/Optical Engineering or other relevant discipline, with an outstanding scholarship record and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching.

· Strong background in the broad areas of biomedical optics and biophotonics, preferably having expertise in some of the following areas:

· Clinical technologies

· Tissue optics and microscopy

· Miniaturized devices

· Point-of-care or minimally invasive techniques

· AI for computational imaging

· Imaging of cancer and disease models

· Demonstrated experience in leading research projects involving clinical partners and technology translation to real-world healthcare settings.

• Responsible for preparing monthly payroll, CPF submission, IR8A, IR21 submission, etc.
• Provide support in employee life cycle process such as recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding activities
• Process HR benefits claims, leave application, and maintain personnel file record
• Responsible for work passes application (WP, Spass), renewal, and cancellation for foreigner employees.
• Assist in staff insurance claim and renewals i.e. WICA or medical injuries
• Any ad-hoc admin duties assigned and assist finance team.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree holders with relevant certificates and experience
• Preferably with Shipyard/Marine/Oil & Gas experience & knowledge

• Able to work under pressure
• Meticulous and resourceful
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Responsibilities:-

• Carry out stuffing / un-stuffing and loading / offloading operations
• Perform heavy lifting operations
• Assist in forklift, chassis and heavy vehicles maintenance
• Daily maintenance and housekeeping of working area
• Able to carry out tasks proficiently and safely
• Ability to anticipate job activities, prepare tools and equipment before operation
• To maintain high standard of productivity and safety through proper work attitude
• Other ad hoc operations duties.

Requirement:-

• Minimum "N" Level / ITE Certificate or equivalent
• Possess forklift license, rigger/signalman cert, lifting supervisor cert, WAH cert will be an advantage (those without will be sent for training)
• Possess some computer knowledge to input data into Warehousing Management System
• Those without experience but willing to learn with positive attitude

Responsibilities

• AR / AP function and data entry
• Check and update vendor invoices
• Fax and post customer invoices
• Read and record photocopier machine meter reading
• Arrange for photocopier machine maintenance and servicing
• Handle daily outgoing postage
• Handle petty cash claims and cash reimbursement when necessary
• Ensure all cheques received are being bank in accordingly
• Prepare documents for vehicles’ inspection at JIC
• Road tax renewal
• Keep record of stationary, uniforms, safety shoes, pantry groceries and top up accordingly
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirement

• Minimum Nitec/O level
• Computer literate
• At least 1 years working experience in accounts department
