The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a unique department at NTU Singapore, advancing cutting-edge education and research in diverse areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, bio(medical)engineering, biotechnology, and other relevant multidisciplinary fields. CCEB invites applications for the area of Sustainability Engineering at the Assistant Professor level. Possible areas include but are not limited to data driven energy system modelling, carbon economics, logistics and supply chain management, and/or techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment, particularly in the context of sustainability and circularity.

We are open to expanding these areas as well as entering new fields. Applicants should hold a Ph.D in a related science or engineering field by the beginning of employment and should have demonstrated experience in the related research. Preference will be given to individuals with foundational training in chemical engineering or closely related disciplines. Under special circumstances, an untenured associate or senior faculty appointment is possible, commensurate with experience. Faculty duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the related subjects and developing course materials, conducting original scholarly research, as well as advising, supervising, training, and mentoring students and junior researchers. This role will support the business objectives of MullenLowe Singapore through the management of all core HR operations processes and policies. The HR executive supports the Senior HR Executive to manage HR activities for all employees and is responsible for all general HR administration as well as talent acquisition as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the administration of all HR operations activities. Support in managing employees’ entire lifecycle within the company from onboarding to offboarding.
• Maintain HR records and employee data in various HR systems.
• Assist in foreign employees’ work passes application, renewal and cancellation.
• Assist in preparation of various HR letters, including contracts, certificates, confirmation letters, etc.
• Support and assist in monthly payroll process.
• Assist in employees’ tax submission including foreigner tax clearance and annual tax submission to IRAS.
• Support and administer government related funds/claims submission, e.g. MINDEF, Maternity compensation, etc.
• Assist in preparation of HR reports.
• Assist in training and development projects for the agency.
• Be part of the employees’ engagement team and support in preparation and execution of related activities
• Coordinate the agency recruitment process in conjunction with HR Director
• Support the implementation of various initiatives and projects

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with multinational network individuals as well as the local agency.
• Experience of working in an agency/communications environment will be a plus

Education:
