The Kitchen Assistant will play a key role in supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen, and assisting in food preparation tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
• Help with unpacking and storing deliveries, ensuring food is properly labeled and rotated (FIFO method).
• Assist in setting up and breaking down workstations before and after service.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate meal timing and ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or expired items to kitchen supervisors.
• Assist cooks and chefs with additional tasks as needed during food service.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Perform any other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or kitchen management.
