The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant for the project entitled “Characterisation of C6orf15 as a marker for epithelial mesenchymal transition and lymph node metastasis in colorectal cancer” within the Department of Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. • Handle employee repatriation by fetching from the dormitory to the airport and also the flight check-in process.
• Assisting employees’ matters.
• Conduct inquiries for any disciplinary issues, complaints, and grievance matters in the dormitory.
• Liaise with relevant government authorities and dormitory management for all dormitory matters.
• Conduct routine dormitory inspections to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Report any maintenance issues to dormitory management for rectification.
• Review and monitor HR dormitory operations/process/system and propose a new system or enhancement to facilitate the process.
• Verify and endorse the billing for all dormitory-related costs and provide supporting documents to the Finance department during auditing.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years HR HR-relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of HR practices and legislation.
• Meticulous and well-organized individual.
• Motivated individual and possesses good planning and follow-up skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to handle a high volume of workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team with a positive attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with China and overseas counterparts.

Responsibilities

1 Data entry duties and administrative duties include: Preparing quotation, final bill of quantity and sales invoices for the project you are assigned to, all templates are given

2 Support project manager/ M&E coordinator

3 Handling emails related to the project

4 Ability to be on time and complete task in an efficient manner

5 Manage databases and admin systems

6 Organizing, storing paperwork, documents and computer-based documents

7 Assisting in other office ad-ho duties when required

Job Responsibilities:

• Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
• Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
• Assisting the Cook with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
• Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
