Job Description & Requirements

The retail assistant will be part of the team responsible for the Retail Pharmacy business.
You will be supporting the pharmacist to fulfill customers’ needs based on their requirements, achieve sales targets, retain and build new customer base and handle the store operational tasks. Retail sales, including cashier duties, ordering and replenishment of stocks, inventory control, assisting in the display of merchandise as well as executing promotional activities.

Requirements:

• Previous retail sales and customer service experience
• 5 days work retail schedule (shifts, weekends, and public holidays) based on roster
• Possess a cheerful disposition, honest, reliable, diligent, dynamic
• Excellent attention to details
• Computer literacy in operating POS scanning and Inventory management systems; working knowledge of Word, Excel, email
• Strong organisation, planning and implementation skills
• Ability to identify potential problems before they occur
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to communicate across all levels within company and with external vendors and service providers
• Willing to accept new challenges

Accounts Assistant

Duties

• Liaising with clients to obtain supporting documents for the preparation of the management accounts.
• Process payroll transactions, monthly CPF submission on behalf of client
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile accounts and handle discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Handle general clerical duties such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence related to the accounting department.
• Assist Account Manager with daily tasks
• Discuss issues with Director / Supervisor
• Other ad hoc duties

Requirements

• CAT/LCCI/Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
• Fresh Grad Welcomed - Fresh School Leavers Welcomed
• Proficient in MS Office , or any accounting software
• Those with practical experience or pursuing an ACCA course are also welcome.
• Have a positive work attitude with good communication skills, proactive with problem-solving skills, and able to work under pressure to meet a tight timeline.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin as to liaise with clients.

Job Scope:

• Maintain AP or AR accounts.
• Assist with General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
• Accurately generate and issue customer invoices promptly.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation, Quarterly GST Reporting, and Monthly Cashflow Forecast.
• Handle administrative accounting tasks, such as matching and checking vendor invoices, claims, POs, and DOs.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
• Update accounting data in the company's software system.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification
