The Assistant Accountant reports to the Accountant to support the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He/She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks. He/She works specifically with accruals, fixed assets accounting or the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes. He/She assists with the preparation of trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our center, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students. The Centre Assistant will assist with administrative tasks, student engagement, and general operations to contribute to the overall success of the education center.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

• Assist in maintaining accurate student records and databases.

• Handle inquiries, registrations, and scheduling of classes.

• Prepare and distribute educational materials and resources.

• Design posters/flyers /artwork related to the courses offered by the center

2. Student Engagement:

• Assist students with inquiries and support their needs.

• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers regarding student performance.

3. Facility Management:

• Ensure classrooms and common areas are organized and conducive to learning.
