1. Monitor assigned commodity market trends, including supply, demand, pricing, and regulatory changes, establish and maintain the database.
2. Regularly write reports for the assigned commodity.
3. Assist in executing trades, including buying and selling LNG, negotiating prices, and arranging logistics for product delivery. Follow established trading strategies and risk management protocols to optimize trading performance.
4. Develop commodity futures and financial derivatives hedging strategies and ensure proper execution of trades.
5. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, and consumers to secure supply and sales opportunities.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of trades and timely delivery of commodities.
7. Any other ad-hoc duties
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, no specific major required. Strong interests to the commodity industry is preferred.
2. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, data, and financial information.
3. Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and able to handle high-pressure situations and make time-sensitive decisions.
4. Ethical conduct and compliance with legal and industry standards.
